Does anyone watch Full Metal Alchemist? A damn good anime in my opinion.

I watch it every Saturday

It's on Monday to Thursday night on Adult Swim in Australia.

I watch it when I can but they're all reruns right now, so I haven't been watchin' it as often. But it's still a good show.

Full Metal Alchemist is a show about 2 boys who are brothers who use the power of Alchemy to try and resseurect their mother but one gets turned into a giant movin suit of armour and the other loses a arm and leg that become robot,then search for a way to reverse the damage done to their bodys.

It's a good show

FMA is a F***ing AMAZING SHOW. I have the DVD set, trust me it gets so much more sicker!, theres this dude that can blow people up from the inside, its crazy!

If you watched AS everynight it was new episodes, however it already ended, the last episode is done so now its all reruns

Yeah i watch it to man it suck that my cable got turned off before the last episode so i didn't get to see it.

the netword that shows it up here just started showing it so i'm just starting to see it, unfortunalty i've missed a few eps because at university i couldn't watch it when it (didn't have the channel it was on.) but as for the show i like it.



but as far as the story goes, The_Dark_Heart_Breaker, your close, it offically goes:

young Edward (Ed) Elric and Alphonse (Al) Elric are young gifted alchemists, they learned from teaching themselves from books in their fathers rooms, as the time passes they improve , however tragedy strikes and their mother is killed by a disease she'd been suffering with for a long time. The boys decide to try the forbiden branch of alchemy, human alchemy, to resurrect their mother. they set up and begin, but it goes amiss, Alphonse's body is destroyed, and Elric's leg is ripped off, Edward seeing his bother dying sacrifices his arm to bind his brother's soul to a large metal armor in the room. Edward does this and tells Al "don't look Al" as he collapses from his injuries. Al then takes his brother away from the miserably failed attempt at human alchemy and the mangled body they managed to create. Al takes Ed to their friends place (Winry's) who'se mother operates an automail place (automail are robotic replacement limbs) Ed undergoes the surgery to get automail for his arm and leg, meanwhile a state alchemist shows up and things begin from there.

I've seen almost every epsiode straight through. That show is addicting. From epsiode one to Barry the Butcher's second appearence. I've seen epsiodes after that but not straight through.

i've seen all the chapters and the movie but it makes me feel that it's not all. maybe if i see the OVAs i could understand it more and not feel an emptiness because the anime ended and I couldn't get satisfied.
Unfortunately here in Argentina nobody translated the manga and i am unable to read it, so i will have to wait for it.

FMA rock. :dance: I seen all the episodes of FMA in AS but i missed the last episode. I wish the showed us that last episode again. I know right now they're showing rerun in AS Monday,Tuesday, and Saturday. I just hope one of those rerun is the last episode.

Yep,FMA is one of the best I have ever seen

FMA is a nice series, but it can be a little weird sometimes. My favorite character is Al, the metal giant ;P

This series was awasome! I really liked it and the last episode was the best! Too bad it was only 51 episodes...Plus the movie.

I've only seen a few.

i found the ending really eye opening, beyond the gate was unexpected, and so was the movie's conclusion.

but if you want to read the manga, there is a place on the net where it is available in english though i'm not sure how complete the series is...

Thanks for the link. There are some major differences between the manga and the anime. The movie is so good...Wonder if they'll have a following for it.

if they did they couldn't call it full metal alchemist anymore unless they undid what happned at the end of the movie...

True...But then again. There is a whole lot more the movie would be able to do.
