Ok basically here how it is, I believe mario DOESNT jump that high. His normal jump is VERY LOW in each game. Think about it. he has a SPECIAL jump like the triple jump or a back flip or side flip, however these are al special jumps. in all games is basic jump was very low, even in his older mario games, he had to get a running start to jump high, or use a goomba shoe to jump, however is normal jumps are very low. Post your thoughts here

not realy that high it all depeands how big goombas are
but it dosent matter sonic cound out jump Mario any day

wtf? if mario could jump that high by default, then bdx and i wouldn't have had to keep stocking up on lives and shit.. i mean seriously.. we both took lives from each other until we were both at 99.. if he could jump that high then the mario games would have been a HELL of a lot easier.. i think someone's been relying on the game genie a little too much..

Mario jumps higher than any other human could do. Even in first mario game he's jumping for the lenght about 4 times of his size. In super mario 64 he can jump about 8 times of his size. It depends on which game mario is beacuse, any other video game character can do diffrent things in diffrent games. For example in first sonic game Sonic couldn't do spin dash, in first megaman game Megaman couldn't do slide and Mario couldn't jump that high in the first mario games but nintendo made him more super that he can now jump higher. And Bdx I think that mario rpg isn't the only mario game where Mario can jump that high :B):

yes his NORMAL jumping ability as in regular jumping, not his tripple jump. his tripple jump doesnt count because u have to do a certain action to jump 8x his body size. but in his new stuff, such as super mario sunshine, he norml single jump, isnt very high at all.

as for it doesn't really matter if Mario's jump is short or high or it is special , cause it's not that important in mario games

in superstar saga he's jumping high when he's attacking

well thats when hes attacking but on the feild it look so low but the highjump looks a BIT higher
