Have you ever noticed that right after someone says something that it racist, sexist, or anything that is offensive to any specific group, that they are very quick to mention that their best-friends, cousins, friends are a part of the group that they had just offended as if that makes it "ok" that they made that statement?

i'll give you an example..

"All blacks are lazy thieves, and i'm not racist, i mean some of my best friends are black"

Why do they do this? I mean they act as if saying that "their best friends are black" automatically give them the right to make condescending remarks.. Seriously, what is the point of this?

None. Absulutly none at all. When I make remaks, I say the persons's name. I don't generalize to thier race.

Personally, I've never understood racism either, and that gives them no reason to make a comment about a single race then act like it's okay just 'cause they be in the knowiness of someone of that particular race, that (to me) makes them no better than the KKK or Hitler and his army, or any other group of radical racists, at least in my opinion. Not even bein' a member of that race gives you the right to make a general statement about it and be forgiven, however you do have the right to say it ('tis a free country but you have to suffer the concequences for your actions.)

Yeah,it's ridiculous,I said to a guy I didnt trust him cause his friend tried to steal my Discman and he thought I was being racist.

My school has a crap load of racist people, infact, the cops had to hang around our school for 2 weeks because of some racial name calling that happened over the weekend (well it was more than racial name calling if you include the underaged drinking and the shotgun being fired by a parrent), and I go to a small school in a small town where everybody knows everybody, and if you don't know someone then you know a person that knows said someone. *slaps himself* sorry, off topic again. Well I stick with my previous statement. (but it's still odd because some of my best friends' friends are racist[for those of you who don't know {probably everyone here} I'm black], like KKK 13 loop nooce carrying racist.)

Since i'm really small for my age (13 when i wrote this) all the year 8s call me names and i'm pissed off. I made this guy i really hate get a nose bleed for saying it (seriously not joking).

Also our School itself is sexist because in PE we have boys groups and girl groups. But no racism in out school heck we even have a connection with a school in Sout Africa.
(just saying this) Bloody Mary killed 283 Protestants but at the same time her farther in law (Charles V of Spain i think) killed 30000 Protestants and even buried some people alive. Its all a lie about Bloody Mary. This guy who wasn't even in the country made up lies about her and it made the book called Foxe's book of Marters i think (marters are people who died for their religion) Did you know that :o

People became racist mianly becuase of the ignorance about race or some group of people. Seriously, I knew a guy who was such a f*king racist that when I asked him why is he so untolerant, he wasn't able to explain this. God, he is such a moron. :idontknow:

Racist's is bad we're all human right? So they are insulting someone of their own race and you nether know you could be related to anyone. :shocked: :omg:... But sometimes sexist 's can be even worse... You just think just cause men and women are different, you need one man and one women to make a child. Men can be gay but women can be lespeons. Sports are a bit sexist but you know people don't mind... i think

racism is one of those issues which there is no real justifieable cause for it, it was that stupid white people of 200+ years ago ( i am white myself ) were given a raw deal when they moved to a new land, so what did they do? abused everyone, they kicked the natives out and about, then went to another land to steal people to better themselves, ( the idiots thought "hey their skin color is different, so they aren't human, therefore that makes it ok") then it became a greed issue, free labour became more important than human rights, and the white idiots got angry when the Northern states suddenly realised what they were doing was wrong. When they corrected it, the people got jealous that their free workers were suddenly no longer free, and they wanted to go back and still have the slavery.

the racism sprang up because some people were to stupid to realise what they were doing was wrong, they had mistaken beliefs and judged all of the African-americans because of what they thought.


sexism isn't fun either, i disagree with some of the equal rights things in that area, why? because there was a case in which a girl loved hockey but there was no womens team so she joined the men's team and they kicker her off, court case filed, and she won, then the team had to make special adjustments for her. ok so thats not a huge deal to me, but what if the shoe was on the other foot? ( no mens, but a women's team, guy wanted to play on womens team, would it be allowed? )

my point is that sometimes its seems ok for women to join mens things when it benefits them, but if a man wants to join a womens thing is it still ok or is it "no, you are a man"

Thats sucks! Anyway i got called a girl for playing hockey! Its one of my fave sports... Thats sexist for me and the men that play hockey!

Women wanted equal rights, that's fair and all but if you can't change stuff for guys, then the same things shouldn't be changed for women, if it isn't that way, then it's not equal, I'm sorry but it's true. It's the same for other races.

Well... For the women, we get mugged and they get raped. But women have it worst cause they get emotinally hurt and we get physically hurt! But some men have been raped, Just look at the movie "Wedding Crashers"

You know if you athink about it, we are all related in some way.. because whether you believe in the bible or not, we all had to come from somewhere, which means that somewhere along the line, people had to commit incest in order to mate, and populate the earth.. and the more people mated, and procreated, the less likelihood of incest occuring.. if you get where i am coming from..
