It's the Nintendo's new console which collides with XBox360 and Ps3.

adding on to what MaranX said, the original code name was revolution, however nintendo recently anounced the revolutions real name will be wii.

Revolution means a huge change that can be social,political or industrial... In this case industrial! Dammit exactly the meaning i had to learn for history! Help me someone i'm losing my head!

uh how do you figure it was a fake? the console still exists however it has a new name, that's it. they didn't scrap the project they renamed it, even the gamecube wasn't always know as the gamecube they originally called it the dolphin (if i remember correctly)

uh i'd like to know how that works...
1- has a new style controller ( with backwards compatibility for the cube controller )
2- only thing i know about the n64's involvement is you might be able to download the n64 games onto the wii

Revolution! As for the Wii name...I don't really hate it, but Revolution was so much better...I could just send in a baby to pre-order the Wii for me. "WEEEE!!!" That's what he'd say...There's also the possablity that people will be saying..."WEEEEEEEEE!!" While they're playing it...Or is that just me?
