Alright..i'm going to talk about how to recolor sprites...all you need is to find some sprites....lets use this user posted image
Ok now copy three of the main colors using this....user posted image ok now you have a palleteuser posted image
ok now you need to pick out 3 colors by editing the 3 colors you have by using thisuser posted image
now copy the first color and then edit by changing Hue,Sat, and Lum. user posted image ok now replace the colors with the colors you picked out.I picked green so I should have this

This a tuturiol i made this year at school for my website so its word for word...You gotta start somewhere so i made it about recoloring and PM if you don't understand something

i use fireworks mx for my recoloring, magnify 800X then use the pencil tool or the paint bucket set at 1 tolerance,

Too bad Fireworks MX doesn't come default with the PC. I hate MS Paint for sprite editing, it's a pain...
