No matter what you say, Tidus will win. He can get 99999 HP - Cloud can get 9999 HP. Tidus can get 999 MP - Cloud can get 99 MP. Tidus can do 99999 damage - Cloud can do 9999 damage. And Cloud's overdrive hits 8 times - Tidus' hits 8 times, then an uber-attack.

Tidus wins.

Cloud can get 9999 MP!!! I played it last night! and Tidus can only do 9999!! I haven't played a FF yet that goes as high as u've stated.... I even got Tidus up to max... and he still only did 9999 every hit... GET ur facts bub...;

tidus is cool, i dont hate him, but there cant be competition when fighting cloud dude, i mean.......hes cloud man, he uses his ultimate summon at the beginning of the fight, tidus is dead, done,hes nothing now

uhh...actually dude...tidus does do over 9999 damage. although u need his best weapon...legendary...whatever its called.

and no matter how much i hate to admit it, and no matter how much i hate ffx and ffx-2, tidus would win against cloud. BUT FF7 WAS STILL THE BEST! RAWR!

Actually, all you need for Tidus is Break Damage Limit, Break HP Limit and Break MP Limit. He'll have a lot more HP and stuff than Cloud. But Cloud is still cool.

Cloud definatly. He's got a huge :jackass: sword and has better hair. Plus he's got Aeris as his guardian angel so she can just summon Bahumut if Cloud's low on HP. Also what kind of name is Tidus anyway(Same goes for Wakka).

Cloud's cool.. but not much of an original name. In terms of skill (< <-- equals winnah) Tidus > Cloud Terms of EXP Tidus < Cloud. If you put Summons on Cloud he gets weighed down and Tidus is generally faster.. sorry Cloud. :(

i dunno cloud or tidus, both are good but i gotta say cloud has the more mysterious a story whiel tidus is *spoiler* but interms of building up tidus is alot more fun to level up i mean your so much more open ended you can make him a mage or give him awesoem warrior abilities, it all depends on the players style, cloud your much more linear sure you can equip materia to him but it doesnt change his core stats all that much.

So what should we do with this one MT?

I think Cloud would win because he got more skills than Tidus. And Cloud has a deep dark side in him whil Tidus is a little climsy. Also Cloud fought bigger and stronger monsters than Tidus will ever do. All yeah and Tidus in japanese means "Sun" and Wakka in japanese means "water" just in case anybody whated to know. Yeah and Cloud has the big :jackass: Buster sword and Tidus has a longsword or something.So Cloud Wins

cloud fought bigger bad guys? uh hate to break it to ya but sin was about the size of the meteor that sephiroth summoned ( cloud never fought the meteor )
but as for personality yeah cloud is cooler

unfortuantly in the ending we learn that tidus is just a dream, so i guess that would make cloud win automatically since hes real and tidus isn't.

That's true , there's a seacert ending that tidus turns real but I might be wrong

Play Final Fantasy X-2. If you manage complete the game 100%, you will see what happened to Tidus.
