How many computers do you have?

Only one....and i had to work a lot to get this one...i sometimes use my girlfriend's portable....but basicaly this one is the only one i got........

2 desktops, (although one is in the closet..) and 2 laptops.. (although one is currently being used as a paperweight..)

Only 2 that I really use(a laptop and a desktop), I have one without internet that I'll use sometimes.

I have one, but four if I count my brother's pc, and my parents' laptops.

in my house i have:
my laptop, which nobody else but me touches. ( toshiba satelite m40 )
the main computer, which everyone (but me) uses (compaq presario 6000)
the old computer, which works but has a faulty monitor (acer- pentium 1)
our first computer (tandy 1000)

I have around 6 comps?

Two comps for us, 1 is my mom's, 1 is my dad's, 1 is the main server that connects them, one isn't being used for anything, and before we had seven but it was my sister's and when she went to Seattle it went with her.

this might be a bit of a technical question but, if you have a computer with an amd processor do you notice that despite the lower speed of the processor you can still do as much or more than the intel/alternative counterpart?

(i say this because i have noticed this a bit when i switched from the main computer to my laptop, my laptop not having the amd processor but an intel centrino, and the other computer which is 4 years older can still almost keep up to my laptop.)

i've yet to work on anything that has an AMD proccessor.. but as soon as i do i'll get back to you..

as for me.. i have a desktop which has a p3 450mhz processor.. i have 384mb of sdram.. it can't handle aything else..

mr. nest has a laptop with a p4 2.4ghz processor.. he has 512 mb ram not sure if it is sd or ddr

well if we are counting broken computers too, then i have four more broken ones laying around the house, whick brings my house to 8 computers total.
And if any body needs there computer fixed or something then you can go to Circut City for a free Check up, and get it fixed for 50% for student. Thats what im gonna do with my computer so i can get photoshop back.

My dad works with comps so he can fix mine.

so 4... im plabnning on getting a new one here soon, caus none of that stuff is recent, but still works great

Three, mine, my dad's, and my sister's. I tend to treat my Wii like a computer though.

2, Mines and my GFs...but mines dies so...1? But i treat my 360 liek a computer because it streams music and movies from my gfs computer (YES I FIGURED OUT HOW TO NETWORK WOOOOT)

My brother has my old laptop (Toshiba Satellite M40)
Parents/youngest brother has the main pc (Compaq Presario 6000)

Though next year this may change as I'm looking at getting a new computer.
I'm not sure whether I'll get a new laptop (and thus pass the a100 down to my younger brother and he'll pass the m40 down to the youngest brother.) OR I'll get a new desktop pc and keep the laptop. (Desktop for at home to use as my personal server and laptop to use at university.)

No Viruses explicitly for them yet, that is... eventually once consoles become really easy/popular and many own/use it for web stuff then you'll see more and more viruses created for the system... But before you say no viruses entirely it may be possible that a virus coded for windows may get transmitted to your rev/360 but it might not have any effect because the core coding is different. (Though I would think that the 360 might be more prone to viruses due to it being a microsoft product... and thus could use code that is similar enough to xp/vista to be corrupted by an existing virus.)
