i've read volumes 1-10 and i'm hooked!my fav. characters would have to be yuki, hiro, and saki hanajima(a.k.a. hana-chan).i want yuki and tohru to end up together, i don't like kyo, he's too hot-headed 4 tohru.so post fruits basket related stuff here.but please keep it from vols. 1-10, i don't want the manga ruined 4 me... ;D

*twitches* it's not a girls thing.well i guess girls do go for romance more, but i still like it.it's also very funny, with some martial arts, and a lil mystery lol.i've never seen the anime sadly.yes, the Sohma are members of the Chinese Zodiac..whenever they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex who isn't a Sohma, they turn into their Zodiac animal...

it's about the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac that have possessed members of the Sohma family.whenever a Sohma is hugged by a member of the oppostie sex who isn't a Zodiac, they turn into the animal that possesses them.i haven't actually seen the anime, but it has to be really good.

Tohru is the heroine of the story I guess.She is very kind, but she is also too passive, and naive.Some people step all over her, taking advantage of her kindness.She is also an orphan.
