Today my newest issue of Nintendo Power came in the mail today and the news I found made me squeal like a little girl. In celebration of Sonic's 15th aniversary, SEGA and Nintendo are making a remake of the Genesis/Master Drive classic, Sonic the Hedgehog for the Gameboy Advance. The new game will include kickazz new features, such as a save feature, six new zones, and the ability to use the Spin Dash, which wasn't added to the Sonic games until Sonic 2. Not sure when the release date is but the price is set at $19.97 here in the states and when the Blue Blur's first adventure heads back to stores, I'm grabbing a copy in a Sonic second.

I think it's going to be the old school graphics and I don't know if it's going to be released outsie of the U.S. since the Genesis was called Mega Drive elsewhere and if they do decide to release it in other countries, a name change will be in order.

The sprites will probably will be the same but with different colors like super mario advance.

I say graphics wise, theyn don't really need to change anything. As long as I hear "SE-GAAAA." when I turn the game on, I'm happy.
