some people think chaos is a bad monster, but did anyone play the last part of SA1 and what happened at the end?

He was filled by hate and anger because the Echidna race hurt the Chao,he was always filled by that anger and hate,but the happy
chao that appeared calmed him down and soothed his soul after
Super Sonic kicked his ass.

Chaos was just doing his job, was enraged by the death of his "children", and kinda lost it. Then he was released from the Master Emerald and used for Eggman's evil bidding. You'd be major pissed and somewhat evil too if that happened to you. Good thing that chao came around to calm Chaos or else getting him back in the Master Emerald might've taken more work than just Tikal's magic.

Originaly he can be considered a bad guy cause he does bad things, but that's only because he has his heart full of hate, full of despair and pitty for the weaklings that only care about power...that fills chaos heart with hate towards everything that he sees cause he thinks that everyone is alike and so they should be treated the same way...with pain...But if chaos exists it is only to guard the master emerald and maybe something to do with chaos, i don't know, that's his only purpose of existance...so i could say that he is a nuetral guy, he can go for evil at the same time that he can go to good side...but that's my opinion...

Think of it like Anger that gets built up inside. People make fun of you and pick on you so you slowly get mad. It's the same thing with Chaos. The echidnas threatened his Chao and as a result, they suffered. Over the years this anger probably didn't die out and Chaos used it against the humans instead.

Honestly I don't think he's evil. It'd be like saying Shadow was evil or Knuckles was evil (S3&K referrence) When truely they were only confused.

Knux ended up to see sonic as a friend now, but shadow in the other hand...i think that towards sonic he only feels respect, because he knows that there is more to sonic than meets the eye...

In Sonic Adventure Kuckles was still Sonic's rival, but when Shadow was introduced Knuckles sort of lost that purpose. he lost his key role as a character when Shadow was introduced. Shadow is Sonic's new rival.

Well, he is gullible but not completely stupid. Sonic Riders is uncannon and that's where they make him seem stupid, other then that Knuckles is ONLY gullible. Gullible doesn't equal stupid though. (Why must I be so redundant?)

No kidding. he's been on that Island since birth and decided, "Hey, this emerald looks interesting I'm going to guard it for all of eternity." And he never has fun.

Perhaps that's why he envy sonic and the others...cause they can have a good time whenever they want...him, in the other hand, the best time that he has ever had was deystroing some robots and eventualy hope that someone breaks the master emerald so he can go look for it's pieces....weeeee....poor knux...

Ok, if he had a father and gradfather, who was the mother? I think it's possible Knuckles poofed out of the Master Emerald too. Or, SEGA just doesn't care to explain the original character's back stories.

Good thing Archie and Ken Penders took the time to do so. His mother is Laura-Lee and through horific experimentation, Knuckles recieved super Mobian abilities and his infamous spiked knuckles.

Yeah but you're all forgetting that no Comic, TV show, or accesory outside of the game world is cannon to the actual series. This means that laura-Lee is not knuckles mother, Sonia and Manic don't exhist, and Chris of Sonic X gets to stay out of my life.

Actually he just programmed the game. The person who came up with Sonic's appearence was Naoto Ohshima.

No, Yuji Naka helped. Naoto Ohshima was one of the people who helped with many others. it's why Yuji naka is most known for it though, because many other programmed the game. Yuji Naka doesn't work for SEGA anymore anyways though, went off and started his own company this year.

Yep and the other guy went on to create Artoon. He also holds the rights to Mighty the Armadilla and that's why he won't be in anymore games.

I've never heard of Artoon.

It's a small company. The only game that they made that i ever heard of was Pinobee: Wings of Adventure for GBA when it first came out.
