Well yea it seesms that Electronic Gaming gave dirge of cerebus, a TERRIBLE rating! Yup, its terrible they said, the comented on the clunk controls, and how, vincenect hair blows and takes up half the screen..


So....are they right or are they not...

That's bullcrap,I've seen tons of trailers and it don't,thats just Electronic Gaming whining cause it's a sequel and it's KH battle style.

No way, that can't be...Dirge of Cerebus is one of the most long and awaited games ever...i've seen the trailers, specialy that one that omegacloud showed me, and i can say that the game is going to be awsome and that is goping to deserve 10...i don't know how those guys even dare to say that...

Sonic heroes looked great also....you cant judge something on how it looks.

I am not familiar with this game, but my point still applies, and that is, don't take the word of someone who is playing, and then rating games for a living.. and instead, see for yourself.. and take into consideration that the person rating that game, may not be too fond of that game's genre.. so if you have a person who favors first-person shooters, and he is reviewing an rpg, then more likely than not, that game won't get a fair review.. (possibly due to the lack of experience in the games in that particular genre) if you are not sure about the game, then rent it from block buster, or another place that rents games and play it that way.. this way, you get first hand knowledge about the game and can see for yourself as to whether or not you would want to purchase it..

as bdx said, Sonic Heroes got a bad rating at a lot of review sites.. but that still didn't stop us from buying it.. him for the xbox and me for the game cube.. and we loved that game.. so it is safe to say that you should take anything, any reviewer (whether it is a game, or a book, or a movie) says with a grain of salt.. and see for yourself.. if you like the game, but you aren't sure as to whether or not you want to buy it, then either rent it, or borrow it from someone who has the game.. and play it that way.. this way if you don't like it then you will be glad that you didn't spend money on it, and if you did like it, you can go out and buy it.

Well I myself haven't played it, but this and KH2 was what made me buy a PS2. So before I buy it, I need to play it like BA said. I usually don't trust reviewers becuase they aren't fair to some games. I also bought Sonic Heroes when everyone was giving it bad reviews and I still play it to this day. (Trying to A-Rank all missions) So like others have said, try it out before you completely skip out on a game. Don't trust reviewers all the time, and you always have the option of renting it.

allthough no one got the NA version cept me ^_^ the NA version is released tommorrow like how the hell did they review it...

not everything was fixed but the game is still good...if your a fan of vincent you can play it although if not you can play to get get hints on FF7-2 dont tell anyone i said that *hides* but DoC is not a bad game the NA version rocks a good remake way better than the jap and has some good RPG shooter elements in it...i dont like reading gaming magazines like that the only gaming magazines i read is japans famitsu cuase they rate fair and square ...getting DoC a bad rating means jap the NA is way better and a good remake and very fun to play ^_^

EDIT also dont listen what other people say play it and find out...and its not first person shooter its a 3rd person shooter

and as far as i care, if i want a game and the reviewers say it sucks well then i might take a little more caution and wait til later to get it (say if the price drops a bit or buy it used.) But if i want a game bad enough i say "@$%^ the reviewers, i'm getting this game anyway."

you know, if this game takes place before FF7, is there a chance we might meet up with some of the crew of ff7 but when they're younger? (maybe glimpse a young cloud and tifa from cloud's memories?) or eet up with Sephiroth when he first started moving up the ranks at shinra?

Cloud and tifa...i don't think so...but there is a slim probability that he might meet with sephiroth, because of lucrecia...

I still trust Cloud on this one. Judging by him it's a good game. EG must be morons because I've seen some of this game for myself and I say it looks good and not like the POS they make it out to be.

no the NA version aint bad

the game only lasts how long the easy mode in KH2 probably 20+hours unless you skip the cutscenes while hard mode will be like KH2 unless you skip the cutscenes

You could also say it's like Tenchu with the RPG element, just Tench with guns I guess.

Shadow the Hedgehog itself was retardedly rushed. I almost died playing through every ending just to play the final one which wasn't very great, like Sonic Heroes. The developers of both games should be fired or have their positions with the janitor's switched!

Haha, i haven't played shadow the hedgehog yet, but from what i can tell from sonic heroes...well they all did a big ruckus about the game and when it came out...well you guys know...

Sonic Heroes was a bigger PoS... Oh well, it's not my fault SEGA of America can't succefully create a good Sonic game without all the fans bashing them.

So dirge of cerebus came out today....I will buy the game and i will be back in a week, to tell you how it is..

and no dirge of cerberus didnt come out today...came out last week or aug 15...

btw if you dont like the controlls and cant get used to it...you can use a USB keyboard and USB mouse to play it like a FPS on a computer...
