Let's face it...This topic has been discussed time and time again. Some people believe that Video games cause real world violence. I don't belive it, there are far more worse things on TV then there are in video games these days. I don't like those really violent video games, and I'm not against playing them. But banning them if they don't do any harm? What's the deal? If you're to blame someone then blame the parents of childern who buy them games without knowing what's in it. Like I said before, there are far worse things on TV then there are on video games these days. (Well at least I think...) I saw this video on TV, and thought I should share it with you guys. Watch it after that ad is done, and yes. The question is the same as the one in the video, I just wanted to see if the votes are the same.

This is a little of old news, but it's still a hot topic in some ways. Not only that but I didn't know where to put this topic...So I decided here, becase it only made sense.

No it dosen't,I've played countless amounts of games with violence in it and I'm not a violent person, unless you piss me off to the limit, but it's
the person's fault if they are violent, not video games.

videogames don't cause violence, what causes it is poor parenting (or no parenting). so they feel like "i can do anything i want cause no one cares." then they get these games or see the violence on tv and decide to imitate that. for some of these people the line between fantasy and reality has blurred and they forget that in real life you only have 1 life, and no continues. once you use it, then thats it.

unfortunatly the media has decided that violent videogames are the causes and are using it to scapegoat the real cause because lets face it, no one wants to be told "your a sh!tty parent and the reason your child is in so much trouble is because you didn't teach them/weren't there for them when they needed you."

the media also seems to forget they deliver all this bad news of the world, people dying and horrible accidents, so much that its a nonstop steady stream of violence force fed faster than any hollywood movie could do it. and as for hollywood movies yes they have alot of violence and so they are partially to blame as well.

That's called tardism. But seriously, video games along with books, television, and movies are all just entertainment. People become violent due to anger issues. Just because I play Halo and kill about 200 Covenant aliens doesn't mean I'm going to let the sUbLiMiNaL mEsSaGeS provoke me to go on a homicidal rage. There are no subliminal messages telling people to kill people. It's all just entertainment, not guides to damning yourselves.
