He was filming a documentary and was stung by a stingray, his crew called for help but by the time they arrived it was too late.

On newgrounds, a lot of people made flashes about him.

Black Angel - September 4, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
Damn, that sucks, i never even saw any of his shows..

don't they usually have emergency crews there on the set to prevent this from happening? I thought they had crew on standby in case something like this happened.. i'm sorry to hear that he died..

That sting was poisoned and it hit him near heart. He almost instantly died and didn't have chance to survive. On BnG forum thay are saying that they thought that he would be killed by crocodile. He did many great things for animals although in some wierd way. Rest in peace Steve :-_-:

All these years I thought he would have died from a crocodile... At least we can all guess what he said when he died though.

BlackCloudX - September 4, 2006 10:52 PM (GMT)
though when i heard the news i was like wtf are you an idiot...

Dictator - September 4, 2006 11:43 PM (GMT)
He is... That's why the only thing he said when he died was, "Kreiky." hell he held is child up to an aligator or something.

I think he was a very brave man and he had the baby-croc situtation under control.

thefishofdoom - September 5, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
poor guy has a lil kid to

Black Angel - September 5, 2006 01:15 AM (GMT)
Its funny that you mention the news because when they mentioned his death this afternoon, in the preview to the evening news, they immediately added, "what makes people take dangerous risks? coming up at 6."

Dictator - September 5, 2006 01:21 AM (GMT)
The news has a way of making the worst things seem good.

Black Angel - September 5, 2006 02:08 AM (GMT)
they said that the stingray's barb went up into his chest and put a hole in his heart.. what the hell was he doing to get that close to the stingray.. they didn't say much, they only said that he was filming a documentary.

Dark Mage - September 5, 2006 05:19 AM (GMT)
At least he died doing what he loved to do.

Mystic Mage - September 5, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
I'm glad my friend didn't go into shock on hearing the news... She started crying though... after she stopped crying she laughed and concerntrating about things... That girl has alot of panic attacks....

If he was gonna die i would of thought it would be by a snake or a crocidile not a stingray.... Ahwelll

coolman - September 6, 2006 12:44 AM (GMT)
poor guy, I will always remember u everytime I see a crocodile

BlackRyuX - September 7, 2006 01:22 AM (GMT)

ThunWind Hog - September 7, 2006 10:02 PM (GMT)
Rest in peace Steve...
