Title: Small, tiny countries

I'm now officially depressed that i live in England. The scenery sucks, the tallest mountain here doesn't even scare me... Someone tripped and fell down a clift where we were rock climbing and ain't even dead... just broke her arm! We weren't allowed to go closer than 50 m to a rifle range when firing cause apparently it's to loud.
I went to France and it was so more free... they wouldn't mind you swimming in rivers... I could drink wine at a resturant. (I'm 13) The canoers asked us if we wanted life jackets while canoeing... they didn't tell us any health and safety on how to abandon a capsised kayak. The food was spectaculous and cheap... The french believe in fresh food... We went to a fish resturant and the fish were freshly caught.... My passport had expired on the way in but they didn't even check it. Not till we got to the english side on the way back did they tell us and it took a while for them to sort it out. The police caught us speeding and only made us pay 30 euros.
Now in England you'd get points... you wouldn't get good fresh food it'd of been in the fridge for 6 days or something... The countryside isn't as beautiful because we're in a small country with tons of people... I can barely go somewhere to relax and sit down and enjoy the weather... if i do it in the backyard there's a lawnmower... do it at the park people are playing... At the beach it's noisy...
I was wondering if anyone has to enduring the pain of this depressment of the restrictment of everything?

When you're old enough move to France,or Australia, cause it's not very cramped in Australia.

Thomaski, I don't think that all things you mentioned in your post are so bad and all the same in the England. I'm sure that some place you will sureli find some fresh fish to eat ^^. I have never been to england so I can't say if I'm sure about this but you should check it to find out. And about that canoeing and wine drinking. It doesn't depend where you're doing this but who is responsible for it. If that gut didn't tell you about all safety probably he just trusted you or didn't bother about your live (or both). About wine. I was in Italy and France and the wine there is a really traditional drink and they won't refuse to give it to younger tourists. When I was in France I noticed that it's much crowded and more noisy than my country. If England is even more that this, I don't know how will I feel when I will be working there ;) Always look also on the bright side of situation.

Why not move to Canada?
we are THE largest country we are larger than the USA and we have 1/10th of their population.
In British columbia we have mountains and even in Cape breton there is one well over 2000 ft.
In Nova Scotia (where I live) the whole south end is all fisheries and is the home of THE BEST scallops/lobsters in the whole world.
plus we aren't so packed you can drive around and not see only people. (unless your in a city.)
