Has anyone seen this show?

I watch it for 3 reasons..

Steve, because he is adorable..

Aidan, because he reminds me of Mr. Nest.. :wub:

and Mr. Big, because he is very handsome.. even though he was a jerk, who didnt know what the hell he wanted..

I can say that I hate and admire, all four women in that show for very different reasons..

I can't stand Carrie, because she is immature, and a major drama queen.

I admire her because she is not afraid to put her heart on the line. I liked that she matured toward the end of the series.

I can't stand Samantha, because she has a tendency to reduce all men to their 'equipment' and treat them as if there is nothing more to them than their 'equipment' (that is, until she met the black guy, who she really liked, but ended up breaking up with him, because he wouldn't stand up to his sister, who didnt like the fact that he was dating a white woman (Sam) .. and then there was richard, who she really fell for, but ended up getting screwed over, because she caught him cheating, and left him.. she ultimately forgave him for cheating, and took him back, but eventually she left him because she knew that she wouldn't be able to trust him anymore.. and then there was smith jared, an actor she dated, and stayed with to the end of the series..)

The fact that she gets laid in every episode has made this show painfully redundant.

I admire her because she doesn't sugar coat anything, and is a straight shooter who has a backbone.

I hate Charlotte, because she is pretentious, immature, naive, and acts like she is some kind of princess.. and the world revolves around her.. she is not very open-minded or understanding.. she is a bigger drama queen than Carrie

I admire her because she has a positive outlook on everything.

I hate Miranda, because of the way she treated Skipper, and Steve.

I admire her because she is independant, and she stepped up to the plate and told Steve how she felt about him, as opposed to playing mind games like the Carrie, and Charlotte would have done.

I watch the censored version, which comes on at 11 EDT because the original is a little too explicit for my taste.. but I have seen both.. MAJOR DIFFERENCE.

All in all, this show is pretty good, and very funny, that, in addition to the humor, and the fact that i can relate to the each of the four main characters, on some level or another, and for very different reasons, makes it that much more interesting for me to watch..

I have seen bits of the show when my sister was watching it,in my opinion it's just another show trying to show women as hors.

Cause I think it's Samantha,gets laid every episode or something,my
sister used to watch it when we were still living with my mum's ex-boyfriend.

Since you say that you saw it in bits, i can see how you would say that, but if you had seen it all like i have, then you would seen that that is not what the show is about.. but different people can draw different things from the things that they see..even if they are watching the same show..

my best friend has been watching this show since we were in high school.. :)
