Well, I like to keep updated with a lot of this game so I have a lot of info on the game. Thought I might as well share it with everyone, though it's now on Wikipedia.

The Story:

Sonic: The same blue hedgehog we all know. In the water city Soleanna the Festival of Flames is cut short as Eggman interupts with an attack. He comes to obtain the secrets of the "Flames of Disaster" from the princess but Sonic, risking invoking the Iblis Trigger- an enormous force- Sonic rushes in but Silver stands in the way for the future.

Now, for Sonic's special feature, he can gain information by talking to people on the street of the vast Town Stages, and make alterations in his actions by purchasing custon actions from the stores. He can do this whenever he chooses in order to be equipped with the right actions for doing things, to be able to enjoy his actions.

Shadow: With a request to extricate Rouge from the federal Government, Shadow penetrates a research establishment. He encounters a hedgehog named Mephiles, who in the midst of the battle sends Shadow to the future.(That's what we know on Shadow's story so far.)

This time Shadow's special features, his various battle actions, can be varied by gadgets (vehicles) to ride in and break things up. Born to be the Ultimate Life-form, returning to the path he'd strayed from, Shadow uses his hand-to-hand fighting gifts and driving technique without hesitating to utilize every gadget and break things in the exection of his mission. Please check the "Gadget Action" button as things are added.

Silver: The new mysterious hedgehog who comes from the future to stop Sonic who he proclaims as the Iblis Trigger.(That's all I can really say for his story for now.)

Silver uses ESP to lift things and attack with. Using his gloves and shoes which were made during his time Silver has the ability to do so. Silver's gameplay will revolve around this.

Aparently while in Action Stages you will run into various friends of Sonic's. A picture of Tails was leaked from the JP site, leaked from a hacking of course(Not me.) You will also be able to play as these characters after you meet them, they aren't confirmed to have their own story modes but it's know they'll be in levels. It's speculation on if they will be presented to multiplayer after directly unlocking them in story mode or not.

No, sorry. The power of the Wii just isn't strong enough, though there will be a Sonic game. Originally called Sonic Wildfire, it is now called Sonic and the Secret of the Rings... Too long of a title in my opnion.

From what i've heard wild fire is pretty good...it has a need for speed feeling...

Well i saw in the web that the game will be on sale around Decembre.

Comes out November 14 in North America and the 17th in Europe. Also I've updated the information(If it's not up when you see this message then I'm doing so)

Wait. Sonic belongs to Nintendo now? Back to the topic, The new guy is called Siver the hedgehog. He's not as fast as Sonic and Shadow, but he makes up for it with the use of magic. I don't know the details, but I know I heard about it on G4.

Yes my friend sonic belongs to nintendo now, didn't you knew...well see things like this...sega mascote used to be Sonic right?....when sega went down they sold all their rights to nintendo, so as you can imagine sonic was sold to, and that's why they did a new SA2 for gamecube, to show to the world who had sonic's ass now...do you understand now?...

Silver does not use magic, but telekenises. Also, SEGA was running out of colors to make their hedgehogs, so they named this one Silver.

Anyways, Sonic doesn't belong to Nitendo. SEGA is a company that will distribute games to any system they can to gain money. If Sonic were owned by Nitendo he wouldn't have had a game, Shadow the Hedheog and Sonic Riders, on multiple platforms. Also Sonic Adventure DX and Heroes would have been Gamecube only games unless Nitendo sold certain rights. Now Sonic is having a game on the Wii(Sonic and the Secret of the Rings) and Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 and PS3. Therefore, Sonic is not owned by Nitendo.
