at first they reported it as an airplane.. and then they said it was a copter crash, and now they said that it was a small airplane..

2 are dead.. and they said that it was a mechanical problem.. and that the pilot was inexperienced.

Starnge enough is that it hapened in the same day as it hapened 5 years ago...11October...pretty strange uh, or maybe it's just a coincidence...

Black Angel - October 11, 2006 08:53 PM (GMT)
that happened in september.. not october..

Gameshrk90 - October 11, 2006 09:24 PM (GMT)
Odd. Well at least it wasn't a full blown airplane. Almost had a heart attack when I saw the title of this topic.

i didn't even know about it until a friend of mine came on msn and said "a plane hit a building in nyc"
and my immediate reaction was
"WHAT?"
then he goes
"yeah, turn on cnn"

and I did, and there it was, breaking news, And my immediate thoughts were:
"i hope no one got hurt"

Black Angel - October 11, 2006 09:54 PM (GMT)
Other than the two people killed, there were no other reported injuries..

Yeah even Sky News and BBC ... only 2 dead though... It sounded like the guy in the aircraft was pratting around

Black Angel - October 12, 2006 05:33 AM (GMT)
It was a Yankee pitcher and his insturctor who were killed in the crash.. it seems that the particular plane model they had used is no stranger to crashes.. he had lost control of the plane.. and that was why he crashed.. though his chances may have been better had he stayed over the East River.. since it wasn't too far away from the crash site.

Snowflame - October 12, 2006 05:44 AM (GMT)
I saw it also, i also heard that the FBI said it wasnt a terrorist attack.

Black Angel - October 12, 2006 05:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah he did though if i were on the street, and saw it happen then I wouldn't jump to that conclusion..

Mystic Mage - October 12, 2006 01:31 PM (GMT)

Mystic Mage - October 16, 2006 07:06 PM (GMT)
No more importantly and wider scale... the Air Traffic Controller :p... He tell the pilots where to go and you just hope the pilot listens well enough to get the right co-ords... but trust me it's completely safe ;D I've seen him work and he had to move his whole area around this one plane cause someone had a heart attack on it  Hey if the American goverment could trust him with George Bush's life then i think you should be able

"I'd rather you'd say i know so much about so little"
That's one of the convos i had with a firend...

But yeah it's pretty cool to know alot about planes... my Grampa was an engineer and my dads an air traffic controller... my grampa designed a few planes... so i get alot of info from them

Snowflame - October 17, 2006 05:33 AM (GMT)
