Okay, so let's talk about the end of the comic. As I think I said, the end isn't coming any time soon; I'm thinking it will be at least another four to six months, optimally around April, to coincide with the comic's anniversary. As some of you may have speculated, the decision to end the comic was actually made quite a while ago, but I figured my appearance at Youmacon was as good a time to announce it as any.
So why end the comic? Why not just keep going? Well, to answer that question, let's speculate about what would happen if I didn't end the comic on purpose. What would happen? Would I just keep going until I got so sick of the comic that I just up and quit and left all the fans hanging? How many webcomics have ended where the authors just stop updating? Or would it be better to have a definite and purposeful ending like Calvin & Hobbes or The Far Side? (Not that I'm in any way suggesting I'm on that scale or anything.) Or, god forbid, that I just keep updating forever, long after I've stopped trying and just started phoning it in? (See: Garfield.)
Basically, while I'm sure some people might be angry or upset that I'm ending the comic, I think in the long run, it's best to end it before it turns into repetitive dreck. Well, even more repetitive dreck than it already is.

I've known for some time about this. He did a great job. I think it's time for him to rest. Anyway we have still time to april.

april 1st of 2000 was the first comic so it'll be 7 years.this april.

It happens to everybody sooner or later. I'm just glad they realized that B&G would have to end someday and that it'll hopefully go out with a bang.

Alright so most of you guys know already, though I shouldn't be surprised really, I'd missed a week of BNG comics so i haven't had alot of chance to keep up on the news. but i figured if it had been released a while ago that there'd be a topic about it.

i never even heard of these BnG comics until VZ brought it up but i only read like 10 so i could really care less about it. im not even really much of a megaman fan.I only played the battle network version of the games.

I know that it's gonna end,and I'm sad about it,it's in the top 3 of my faviorite comics,even if I was sad,I'd get a good laugh from it.
