President Bush goes to a school to talk about the war in Iraq. After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and President Bush asks him what his name is.

"Billy", the kid says.

"And what is your question, Billy?"

"I have three questions", says Billy, "First why did the US invade Iraq without support from the UN? Second, why are you president when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden?"

Just then the bell rings for recess. The President informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess. When they resume President Bush says "Ok, where were we? Oh that's right question time. Who has a question?" Another little boy puts up his hand. The President points him out and asks what is name is.

"Steve, sir."

"And what is your question, Steve?"

"I have five questions. "First why did the US invade Iraq without support from the UN? Second, why are you president when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden?" Fourth, why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early? And fifth, what happened to Billy?"

the vice president earns less than half of that..

they earn $186,300 a year.

i heard that sports players make more then the president does.

pfft yeah.. and all they have to do is play a few games and smile for the camera..

the president has to run the country.. and survive frequent assassination attempts..

400,000.... thats still more than I make in 4 years, and he gets it in a single year. so 400,000 x 4 years = 1.6 million and i don't imagine he has to pay taxes on that like sports players do, so in reality it's seems like 3.2million.

but still, i don't imagine it'd be extremely hard being the president, as he has someone to write his speeches, and he only has to make decisions rarely as the lower levels take care of alot of the decisions.

the only real difficult thing is to smooze with the public, and be able to talk in front of a camera. (especially with the realization there may be up to 1-2 billion people watching)
