Ask a question, and I'll do my best to answer them..
Anyone else from NYC is free to answer questions as well..
Dark Mage - November 25, 2006 01:58 AM (GMT)
Is there tons of crime in New York?
Black Angel - November 25, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
It depends on where you go..
If you go into the Bronx, or the Bed Stuy area of brooklyn, or Harlem in upper manhatten, then yeah, there will be some crime.
But if you were to go over to Mill Basin, Sheepshead Bay, or Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, or Flushing, Forrest Hills, Bayside, and Bay Terrance in Queens, Chelsea, Clinton, SoHo, NoHo or pretty much any area below 110th street in Manhatten, then it is much safer..
But crime can happen at any place at any given time..

I love New York!!
Everything that a person could possibly want is right here..
It is the only city I know where you can litterally go to different countries, just by hoping the subway..
I love that this city is very rich in culture.. You have many people from different countries here like China, Korea, Greece, Italy, Puero Rico, Many parts of Africa, Russia, India, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad, and the list goes on..
I love that no matter what time of day or night, there is ALWAYS something to do here.. something is always open..
That is why I could never live in a rural or suburbian area..
I couldn't get used to the entire town shutting down after 8 pm..
saphirekitty - November 25, 2006 02:33 PM (GMT)
I love newyork to, it's one place i never want to leave. when im older i'm moving to soho into one of those studio aparments. but sadly i hav 2 move in with my dad down south so thats gonna be a long ways from now :-_-:
Down south nothing happenes, i have visited many times and its too quiet for me. i need drama(not too much), i wana see glitz and glam. but getting away from it all is nice too, like the bahamas, or the virgin islands(which is cool cuz u can take the subway there!) but down south is not my kinda state.(im not tellin the exact state in case of stalkers and internet freako pervs) It's always hot and there is no chance of wearing my new snowboots and winter clothes. It is boring, it isnt lively wut so ever, the people that i kno act all the same. I never liked it down south...... :-_-:

Is it true you could fit the entire population of Australia in New York?
Black Angel - November 27, 2006 07:50 AM (GMT)
hmm.. let's see..
Australia's Population: 20,090,437
New York City's Population: 8 Million
New York State's Population: 18,976,457
New York Total: 26,976,457

What time of year is it good to visit New York. Like summer, winter ect. And what's the weather like there?
Black Angel - December 3, 2006 10:26 PM (GMT)
Hm welll the best thing about new york is that there is something for ALL seasons..
In the winter, there is the lighting of the Rockerfeller Christmas Tree.. and maybe go ice skating while you are there..
Later on, there is the New Year's Eve Celebration in times square.
In the spring there is New York City Auto show.. as well as a lot of other things..
In the Summer, You can visit Coney Island, and ride the cyclone.
In the fall there is the thanksgiving day parade..
There are a lot of things to do here, and so, there really is no specific time to come here, as there is always something to do here..
The weather here now, is that it is getting colder..
In the winter it is cold as a mofo.. and when it snows, IT SNOWS..
N.Y.C. winters are the WORST winters I have ever encountered..
but it does have its beauty.. when we are covered under a lot of snow, the city gets quiet.. it is really peaceful.. Central Park is beautiful that time of year..
The summers here are sometimes (especially this past summer) so hot, that you wish for winter's early arrival..
But there are a lot of places you can go to beat the heat.
I love the fall, and spring seasons here, because they tend to be not too hot, and not too cold, so to me, it is just right.
Krypt - December 3, 2006 10:34 PM (GMT)
do you have Bill Gates in there, the infamous mad scien...i mean the inventor of Microshi..soft in there?
Black Angel - December 3, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
I think he lives in California..
It would explain why Windows is set to Pacific Coast time after a clean install..
sambambam - December 7, 2006 10:46 PM (GMT)
yo it straight like this if you come to nyc don't make yourself a target you know, don't be like looking up at build and wearing big dumb ass t shirt saying i love ny. you just got there how can u love it.
sambambam - December 8, 2006 11:46 AM (GMT)

sambambam - December 8, 2006 11:48 AM (GMT)

A.J. The Echidna - December 9, 2006 02:10 AM (GMT)
sambambam - December 11, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
but the good thing about nyc is people are real for the most what are they are they are and for some it no changing that for the good or the bad
Mystic Mage - December 11, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
In the magazine i saw London just chipped NYC as the best city or something
You have the better lifestyle though
It was by 0.1's we won so it was very close
What would you say is the best Tourist Site in NYC?
Black Angel - December 11, 2006 08:47 PM (GMT)
Well, I'd say the WTC area, but alas, that is now just a crater..
So I say check out the Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, and take the Circle Line.. there is a lot that you can do here, but those are the areas that I suggest that you check out first.
Mystic Mage - December 11, 2006 08:50 PM (GMT)
See if I had a choice between NYC or London to go Christmas shopping I'd go to NYC
But if it was between NYC and South Africa I'd go South Africa.
Is NYC is expensive?
Black Angel - December 11, 2006 09:00 PM (GMT)
Yes, and no.. it all depends on where you go, what you are getting, and the time you go..
A.J. The Echidna - December 11, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)

I'd also suggest Rockefeller Center and Times Square.
Black Angel - December 11, 2006 10:04 PM (GMT)
Yeah I would have added those but I had already stated them in an earlier post.
Dark Mage - December 12, 2006 12:07 AM (GMT)

Black Angel - December 12, 2006 12:41 AM (GMT)
There's heaps of obese people everywhere

Dark Mage - December 12, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
I know there's heaps of obese people everywhere, but do you see heaps in New York?
It'd be every bully's dream if there is.
Black Angel - December 12, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
in nyc, a bully would have to have balls made od titanium to mess with a kid from nyc..
he just might get stabbed.
Mystic Mage - December 12, 2006 06:06 PM (GMT)
That's seriously harsh
I mean
That's horrible
It's inhuman
It wrong
