I'd like to say first and foremost, that registering an account here or on any invision board, is usually a speedy process.. in that, all you'd have to do is pick a username, password, put in your email, and then click "submit" and you'd automatically be registered, logged in and ready to post.
Registration here used to be that quick and easy, but in January, when BDX released FFSX5, not only did we get an increase in members, but we also got an increase of spammers, spambots, and trolls as well.
So, because of this, we had decided to turn on "User Email Validation" in an effort to solve our problem.
I didn't think I'd have to explain this, but after combing through HC's email account, I see that this is very necessary.
First off, to register an account here, you must click the
Register link on top of your screen.
After you fill out the necessary information, you click the "Submit my registration" button ONCE.
So let's say you registered under the name of "
User" with the email address "
User@mail.com."
After you have clicked that button, it should take you to another page, saying:

The board administrator has chosen to require validation for all email addresses. Within the next 10 minutes (usually instantly) you'll receive an email with instructions on the next step. Don't worry, it won't take long before you can post!

When you create a new account with your email address, a validation email is automatically sent to the email address you signed up with.
So, now you need to go to the account of the email address you signed up with, and look for an email that says:
"Registration at HellBlaze Cafe ( From HellBlaze Cafe )"
Click that link, and you should see this:
