Why is it that certain groups can't seem to resolve a conflict without the use of guns?

I am so sick of hearing, or reading about someone who was killed in a drive-by, or as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time..

It is sad to see that a lot of today's urban youth, is growing up thinking that it is cool to be a gangsta or thug..

If you look at a lot of the older rap videos, and then compared it to today's rap videos, you will see a very sad difference..

All anyone hears about now adays is the stereotypical gangsta thug and kids shooting each other. Have we really gotten so bad that it's cool to be a thug and shoot everythign that moves, these kids that do this, have they no commonsense, no parents to knock some commonsense into them, really how F***in difficult is it to prevent a kid from being so screwed up that they want to be a gangsta, really the parents are the ones to blame here, they sit back expect kids to raise themselves, then when jr starts packing a 9mil they wonder where they went wrong. Todays parents are in such a precarious situation, they take flak for doing nothing and for doing something, seriously, society need to lay off them and allow them to use methods that would work, time out does nothing and the criminal youth system needs to toughen up, no more of this "warn me 17 times before arresting me" crap, but now if they use stronger methods they get labeled abusive by the kids, most parents are so freaked at the thought of having their kid go to school the next day and report them for abuse that it is absurd. And this is why the gangsta kids roam the streets cause they haven't been taught that the gangsta life is not glorious, its crime.

I just love how these fuckers are quick to saw how "gangsta" they are, and how they deem themselves soldiers, and partake in "gang wars" and yet, they won't go overseas to Iraq, where the REAL soldiers are..

here is my thing, If you think that you are tough enough to carry a gun, and shoot up other people, then at the very least, prove it by joining the military.. this way you can prove just how tough you really are.

That is true, people fight and DIE so these little fuckers can roam our free streets and pop a cap in each other's asses, proclaiming they are tough, how tough are they when they aren't on their home turf anymore, suddenly these so called soldiers who fight these gang wars are weeping for their mothers as the bombs blow up aroung their sobbing frames. lol. Yeah I know. I really don't understand why so many people take the war for granted, not just these "gangsta" kids.

However, i believe the reason that they get all up and over about being a gangster is either because they feel low in the Social Status or they want to be acepted. This isn't an exception because their are kids with similar backgrounds who grow up living great lives. It probably is the fault of the parents or the fault of whoever was watching them. in my opinion it turns out to be a bunch of shit in the end, that because it wasn't dealt with properly before hand, it becomes an issue after.

Because some peopl believe it's cool to talk like your a gangster and substitute it with, "gangsta". It's also specifying who I mean, even if it's stereotypical.

"Gangsta" or whatever they consider themselves I'm sure most of those idiots wouldn't e able to fight a war even if their lives depended on it. *Which it technically does* Must of them only pick on people they find "easy targets", and sometimes those "easy targets" bite back. Although if the "gangsta" is bigger or more buff, most people wouldn't fight back. Heck...I'm not saying I'm not afraid to die in a war. Joining the army is the last thing on my mind, and I know I probably wouldn't last a minute in Iraq. But people who talk like they're all that and a bag of chips. *Haven't used that in years* Should be able to back up what they say, and if they can't. They might as well start acting like a normal person and finding ways to help people around them. If I talk crap, I might as well be able to back it up, and not hide behind a name like "gangsta". As long as you make sure that you are addressing the "gangstas" and not the "punks" as you say it, then you should be fine..

Not sure what's it like in other countries but here "Gansta"'s are the people that get into drugs... and end up having a gun... Even though it's banned here. I haven't seen any "Gansta"'s but chavs look like they're on the right direction
