Title: Firefox.... Myths?

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/Fi...hs.html#FanboysApparently what firefox "claims" isn't as true as it seems...
and for some of it I agree, IE does start ALOT faster than firefox does.
what's your opinion on this? did someone make all this stuff up or is this actually something people need to see?

to be honest i'm not sure what to think.. i mean i think that the only way you can truly test whether or not IE truly starts faster than firefox, is to put it on a non windows-based computer..
although i have noticed that ie launched faster than firefox, it just might be because some system processes can also be used to load ie..
i have also noticed that firefox crashes ZA on my computer to the point where i'd have to restart my computer to fix it.
whenever firefox crashes ZA, it messed up all of my browsers.. the only way I can stay online is with an im program, or if i am using bittornado..

For me, IE can be the slowest browser. Personally I like Opera over both of them, but I use Firefox more often. IE is terribly slow on my comp.

Personally I like Firefox better because of all the crap that goes onto IE's tool bar. The thing's got seven different search engines, "extra menus", a somewhat reliable pop-up blocker, and the fact that I can't even find the web adresss window just ticks me off.

Firefox is my hero, its so much better and more operational than IE... faster, more capable of downloads, add-ons. Its just the whole pizza pie to me.
