A.J. The Echidna - January 14, 2007 04:45 PM (GMT)

Yeah i thought the same thing and my heart started to beat fast, but i knew that that was impossible. thats cool though i didn't know the Wii could do that. Im saving up to get one

Mystic Mage - January 17, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
I need Wic
Wireless Internet Connection first to do that

Sweet. My friend Mike's got a modded X-Box that not only saves entire X-Box games onto it's hard drive but it also plays games from other systems.

VirusZero - January 17, 2007 08:11 PM (GMT)
technically if you can see the internet from the Rev then FFSX has technically been released for it as well... just not as Rev specific.

Dictator - January 17, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
That's cool, i'm not really for the Wii but no other system, I believe, can do that. It's your home in one. I bet it comes with a secret fridge.

Sephiroth - January 17, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Hehe...who knows...

Turok - January 18, 2007 12:20 AM (GMT)
that would be pretty sweet lolz :p

no you dont need any wireless connection at all. They have a network called nintendo WiFi which is a free wireless internet powered by a company called opera.
just put the Wii next to the window and your good to go

I meant to say cant.

You can but isn't there some kind of point system you need to use? or is it even set up yet? if not heres what it's supposed to be:
the nintendo virtual console- an emulator of sorts that can be used to play all the older games, you use the wii point cards (which you can get at any game store) to buy the games from nintendo and allow them to be downloaded to your rev.

Opera. :p I have a web browser by them. It works real well, but I tend to use Fire Fox more.

you make it sound so hard and technical :-_-:

Sephiroth - January 18, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
I honestly think that you nedd a cd boot for that

Chaotic Newbie - January 18, 2007 06:51 PM (GMT)
You might not. It all depends.

VirusZero - January 18, 2007 07:17 PM (GMT)
well if you stop and think how technical even downloading something is...

step 1- connecting to the internet (how hard is it to set up a connection to the net? theres alot you have to know if your setting it up yourself, it's not always as easy as bring the system near a wifi and thats it... plus someone had to build the first network which would then spark and develope the whole internet )

step 2- locating the resource (you have to know where to look and how to get to it, and someone had to set up the place where you could get the software.)

step 3- access permissions (can't download anything if you don't have the access rights, and someone had to spend time to set this access sytem up so not everyone can just download anything they wanted...)

step 4- the transfer (connecting 2 remote systems...)

step 5- server reset and download completion (the aftermath, where the server disconnects, and on your side the download is completed and transfered to a location on the disk/memory that enables it to be useable)

step 6- set up (any configuration that has to be done, might not be as much with the rev as there would be for a program.)

step 7- use of download. (now you actually get to use that software you've downloaded.)

Chaotic Newbie - January 18, 2007 07:19 PM (GMT)
Wow, when you put it that way, it is complicated.

Sephiroth - January 18, 2007 09:15 PM (GMT)
You got that right...i never tought of it in that way...
