Zero for the win- Everybody gets the business end of the saber. Plus Zero is fast, way faster than master cheif and no matter how fast Sonic/shadow can run, Zero can teleport. Link's/Tidus's / Cloud's sword = no match for the saber.

Well there's always a delay on Zero's teleportation. By the time he arrive at Sonic, he'd be too late to hit him. Also, Sonic has a lot of control with his speed so it would be easier then expected to dodge a saber slash, maybe not multiple slashes.

Jean the Squirrel, he's really fast. At least he can talk fast. His full skill hasn't been seen yet. ^_^ Jean is for the win.

If Zero teleports ahead of sonic, then sonic could end up running right into the blade. Then there'd be sliced hedgie all around.

Of course, Sonic always has the ability to use Chaos Control(Same with Shadow) Whichw ould stop Zero and leave time for anything Sonic saw toward his Pleasure. Then we have to look at the Shadow situation, Shadow has Chaos Blast, Chaos Spear, Chaos Control, and a load of vehicles and guns(As seen in his usage in Shadow the Hedgehog) So, if he used chaos Control what would stop Shadow from using one of his weapons, a Chaos Spear, or even a Chaos Blast.

Sonic on the other hand has a less chance, but his usage of Chaos Control gives him a chance.

True shadow has chaos control, but whose to say that's going to be very effective against Zero... (with his armor and all, it might take a long time to get through Zero's armor with chaos attacks alone)

And don't forget Zero has his own version of chaos control ( Remember X5? Dark Dizzy's move? Dark Hold, yeah love the time stopping effect, take less time to activate this move than it would for shadow to say "chaos control" so in effect he'd start to say it, Zero'd activate dark hold and slice shadow to ribbons. )

Belive it or not shadow and sonic's quills are razor sharp when doing a spin dash or homing attack so they could just cut right through that armor.

at any rate veiwtiful joe would kill them all with his awsome VFX powers

Shadow and Sonic's quills might be sharp, but remember that it can't penetrate Eggman's armor vary easily, and that's current year armor, try adding 200 years to technological advancement into the equation (Their quills wouldn't stand a chance, and neither would the chaos attacks.)

Link's sword is unbreakable, but so is the beam of Zero's saber... so that might be equal then, but Zero is still faster than Link.

Cloud's sword is no match at all for a beam saber, it'd be cut into little pieces, so Cloud would run out of swords fast (same goes for Tidus.)

Viewtiful Joe's abilities would be countered by Dark Hold (absolute time stop, joe could use mach speed but then he'd still be stopped completely by the dark hold. )

Ok, screw it. -_- Goku beats them all, try beating a Super Saiyan. Apparently tons of energy with the capacity to destroy planets entirely isn't enough to beat a character completely. Goku could simply fly in the air and fire a bombardment of ki. His Super Saiyan boosts both strength and speed, so therefore Zero would probably not see him coming, and one shot would most likely crack his armor, if not destroy it or kill Zero since Zero isn't trained to fight opponents like Goku.

I think it's Cloud. He has actually many years of experience, and let's not forget Omnislash and other LB. Besides, he has materia. ^^

Materia isn't going to save you from a Kamehameha, or Gotenks Super Ghost Kamikaze.

Whatever that is. But, you know, there's this Time Materia with 'Haste' and 'Slow', and even 'Stop'. That IS going to stop those... thingies...

Ok, but that doesn't help if you have someone with the ability to move at super sonic speeds, he can move his fist that fast as well most likely. Also, a DBZ characters awareness is higher then your average character from a game or anime. Not to mention if all of them are fighting at once, not just one on one, A DBZ character can move in and take them out in a matter of seconds.

...I think you're too much into this... DBZ... whatever that is. You say, that one hcaracter from it can take them all in seconds, but you forget, that all of them are experinced fighters. Sometimes experience can surprass speed. And, to be honest, Tidus dies FIRST and FAST.

It's not that I'm into DBZ that much that I'm ordering the characters to totally rape all others, it's that it's the truth. DBZ is Dragonball Z, planets are blown up, people are killed, it's been proven that Gotenks(Even without super saiyan) can fly around the world in about 8 times in a matter of seconds. It's been proven that they can punch through people, that their energy pierces the strongest of things. Bullets don't affect these characters as shown by Nappa. If Goku can withstand 100x Earth's gravity, and probably 1000x Earth's gravity or more by the end. Cloud, Zero, or any other character mentioned doesn't have that sort of strength and they honestly can't move fast enough to avoid no matter how experienced they are. This isn't coming from obsessian or hatred against other series, because I have nothing against them. It's pure knowledge of the series and other series.

Well, this is a topic about who we think would win right? I selected other so I'm entitled to a character, other then Jean the Squirrel, right? DBZ has the strongest characters so why not support the cast in this.

If I had to, and I mean had to pick someone other then DBZ member I'd probably choose, Itachi or Sasuke. Sasuke is immensely powerful in new Naruto Chapters. Itachi has a mangekyou sharingan which can do a lot of damage to one. Plus the sharingan that he has gives a clear picture of his opponents next move and he can incapacitate one with it.

If I had to pick someone other then a Naruto character I'd have to say probably ... *thinking* ... Fayt from Star Ocean 3(Till the End of Time) Fayt has some abilities that would probably lead him to victory. For instance, he has his Dimension Door which allows him to cut through the dimension and easily get behind an opponent. Fayt has also been genetically altered...

If none of them are fair, I don't know who i'd choose. Kenshin, Ryo(A ronin warrior), the power rangers, the chicken off of family guy. I just don't know what fair is considered and whether the fight necassarily has to be fair so I can just come up with a whole cast of members, and have Goku at the top able to fight them all, or a majority, all at once.

Not exactly. Lets change the characterto Bardock for a quick second, or even Vegeta. If you look back at Bardock: Father of Gokue there are saiyans who can breathe in space. I'd say it's native saiyans, so Vegeta has that ability because he was on an astroid when he learned to go Super Saiyan. There's no air there, how does he breathe? Because he's native to planet Vegeta, so maybe Goku couldn't breathe but what about Vegeta who is also one of the most powerful characters.

Somehow, some way, DBZ will find a way to beat a god. Because it's that over powered.

but then a god might just be able to smack them when their charging...

Or while they're powering their attack up. It does take like 3 episodes for them to power an attack up and then launch it.

Yeah I have always found that irritating that it takes 3 episodes to launch the super move and fights have to fought over like 6 eps.

but one way someone else could beat the DBZ people is by absorbing some of their power... (like if they could siphon some off, and bring the dbz people down to a somewhat more manageable level.)

But we don't know of any characters who can do that. >.> Though if the DBZ characters were able to exist in a fight against other universe characters, couldn't the dragon balls? There for they could wish themselves more power right so they could fight the DBZ characters.

Still, they wouldn't need it since Goku and Vegeta can both reach Super Sayian 4 and fuse into Gogeta. Even if that wasn't enough, they'd just use the 100X Big Bang Kamehameha and demolish the planet and their opponent.

Why make yourself more powerful when you could just make the opponent weaker? like cap his power, so that he can't use his ki abilities? cause goku depends on them for everything, everything is tied to it so... limit/remove it then he is powerless.

Well, I took that into consideration but the dragonballs have limits. Though it was never specified that they couldn't weaken one, they can't kill anyone for sure. And if we faced this situation in front of Toriyama's face, I'm sure he'd limit us from weakening characters. However, it has been examplified that power can be gained or even life. Garlic Jr. wished for eternal life in Dead Zone so I would only make an assumption that you can wish for strength as well.

No, i know Goku can't breathe in space I said Bardock and Vegeta because they are natives to planet Vegeta. It's proven as seen in the TV series, though I'm not sure about Toriyama's original manga. Also I just brought the Dragon Balls up because it'd be like allowing the Chaos Emeralds because the characters of that universe exist in the fight, why can't their universe's items?
