Title: The best FF villain
Description: Yes, all of them
Mavander - February 28, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
Well, yeah, who's the best villain in all of the Final Fantasy? Let's present them, yes? (if anyone assume that I'm british, I'm going to send an army of clowns after him, yes?)
Chaos - He's a being superior to fiends, however created by their powers. Once known as Garland, now he becomes an essence of all evil. In short weakass first boss kicks your ass at the end.
Imperator - A man that follows his greed and lust for power, not stopping from anything, even death to achieve it. In short I've never played II far enough to know anything about him.
Zande - Following by his envy of Dorga and Unne, he continues to destroy the world, in the end destroying himself and bringing an ultimate evil to our realm. In short he's not the final boss.
Golbez - Like hell I know anything about his motives. I mean, yeah, moon, great power, but I mised what's this power for.
Exdeath - A spirit that seeks great power for it's kind to return to the realm of light. He suceeded, but the power was to great for him to control and in the end he found his purpose in destroying all that exist. In short, multi-part final boss.
Kefka - One that has threw away his sanity in order to attain a great power. His hatred for life and the feelings of living makes him a human that will not back to destroy anything, even himself. In short a freakin', SCARY clown that kicks your ass at the end.
Sephiroth - A human infused with a being that wishes for destruction. His hatred to humans grew quickly and in no time he became a threat to the planet. In short a momma's boy with big, recompescating sword and girly hair. Everyone like him!
Someone tell me about the main villain in FF VIII
Kuja - Created in an artifical life. A being that's only purpose is to bring chaos and destruction. A being that rebels and in it's desperation seeks to destroy all life. And in the end he realizes how beautiful life is. In other words he's even MORE homo than Sephiroth and Cloud.
Seymour - One that has experienced unlimited power, and did not wan to lose it. A soul so desperate in his goal that it's willing to become the world's enemy to achieve it. In short, he's Kuja's partner.
Vayne - a human with a desire for power, garthering all means of achievieng it around him, not stopping to murder in order to obtain it. In short, if that's not true Wikipedia cooperate with Al Khaida.
Well, I personaly think that Kefka's the best. Especially for his humor and theme, but also the words he says at the final battle with him. It just makes him my favorite.
And this'll probably change into either 'I love Sephy' or 'Kefka vs. Sephy!'. ==

Sephiroth...i'm kinda tired of explaining why....Style and power...i think it pretty much resumes why...
Mystic Mage - February 28, 2007 08:52 PM (GMT)

Ugh. Great. An army of Sephiroth's fanboys/girls. Well if we put Kefka and Sephiroth to compare I say, that they're equal. Sephiroth is extremely skilled fighter and he has Jenova along with him, while Kefka is rather mage-type and has obtained the power of the Three Godesses. In short I think that in melee fighting Kefka would have poor defences, while Sephiroth, againts Kefka's special skills would have quite a hard time. They both has rather similiar final forms. They both want to destroy the planet. Kefka suceeded in destroying the balance of the world, Sephiroth was close to it, however the cataclysm he would've caused would be greater than that whith was Kefka's doing. I also think that Kefka had more... interesting motives. While Sephiroth was followed by his hatred to the humans and went crazy about Jenova, Kefka was crazy from the start. He wished for eternal destruction of everything, except him. Funny, Neo Exdeath had similiar goal, but he wanted to delf-destruct, after the world was done. Well, what I want to say... Kefka and Sephiroth are equals and the decision is rather about who do you like more, not about the skills.
Sephiroth - March 1, 2007 07:38 PM (GMT)
You got a pretty interesting point there but...don't ever say that Sephiroth looks like Kefka ever again!...sure they may share the same ideals of evil, but that's all!...you are comparing a vilain that just seems that it has been pull out of a circus in a hurry! Kefka looks like a freaking clown...actualy he looks like a drag queen like kuja from FF9, but the only difference is that Kuja kinda looks cute...now Kefka is ugly as hell! Sephiroth by the contrary is able to do all sort of evil things like Kefka but he keeps a manlyhood image to it...and what gives mainly sephiroth a great style is his hair, long and grey...and you know why? Because when we're looking at him those aspects give us the message that sephiroth is a dangerous and a must respect fella...so don't ever say that Kefka looks like sephiroth ever again!
Mavander - March 1, 2007 07:51 PM (GMT)
My memory is empty. When did I ever mentioned that Sephiroth looks like Kefka?!
Dictator - March 1, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
Sephiroth is overrated... Like Rock Paper Scizzors >.> He has no consciense and can't even think logiacally. He's the stereotype of a super cool enemy that gets over rated and eventually is realized to not be cool. >.> In my opinion.... The best villain is one who isn't released. i mean think about, you know nothing about him, his appearence, back story, ideals. he's completely mysterious. o.O
Sephiroth - March 1, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
<_< When you say that Sephiroth looks like a girl <_<
Dictator - March 1, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
He looks more like an 80's rock star with a bad outfit. >.>

That's exactly how sephiroth apears in the begining of the game...
Mavander - March 1, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
Um... y'know, around Kalm he stops being mysterious. And, what, he doesn't look like a girl? I've realized this was a man only because of the name. And I still think Kuja's a girl.
Dictator - March 1, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
But he's been released! I mean one who is completely not thought of and the game creators don't even know exists.
BlackCloudX - March 2, 2007 01:52 AM (GMT)

Sephiroth - March 2, 2007 09:50 AM (GMT)

Dictator - March 2, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
I still remain with my idea. >.>
BlackCloudX - March 3, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)

FFXII seems more human than any other FF games

Sephiroth - March 3, 2007 02:23 AM (GMT)

Mavander - March 3, 2007 07:34 AM (GMT)
Ugh. Wikipedia. My memory is the only thing that doesn't work lik it should anymore.
OK, the description is there, but I don't know how to edit poll, so Vaine is '(no idea also)'.
ffdarkside - March 5, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
look what here done here killed a main chairther
took over Cloud mind and made him give him the black mati
he aslo has died like hold on i hav to count
cloud killed him first
FF7 gang killed him
then they did it agin
then cloud killed him in his mind
then a the ruins at milger
o and kingdom hearts 2
so that he die like 5 times and the kingdom hearts 2 one it hard to say he disapper in the light so i dont know
that why Sephiroth is the best
Sephiroth - March 5, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
Well, that's very interesting point...haven't tought about it that way...
VirusZero - March 5, 2007 10:11 PM (GMT)
As far as I see it (with my fairly limited final fantasy boss knowledge, only ever have beaten FF7 and FFX, though I'm close to beating FF5, FF6 and FFX-2 but I still haven't gotten to the final battles, and I've seen the final boss of FF8 because my brother almost beat it).
Sephiroth is probably the coolest (That sword is the thing that seals it) and magically speaking, he's probably one of the more powerful ones (with being able to summon a meteor and still being able to project an intensely strong barrier over a whole mountain...) So above all I'd say Sephiroth is probably the crowd favourite, (Barring aside that he is the villian of the game that got many of North America's gamers into the RPG scene)
But as far as Sephiroth's mother issue... think about it, he's probably just a little ticked at the people for doing experiments on him, playing with his fate, infusing him with mako, and his mother's cells. If you were in the same position wouldn't you be a bit pissed off, and potentially want to just go home and be with your mother (who is usually the one who comforts you after an injury or when your sick?)
EX-Death so far doesn't really seem as evil as he is supposed to be, sure he kills people but people are killed by others all the time, so it isn't right but he still doesn't seem evil enough.
Kefka- If I have to hear that laugh one more time....
Seymour wasn't all that strong compared to the other villians, plus the real villian was sin... even then Sin was a bit disappointing as well for a final boss (for me Auron killed him in one hit...) Most final bosses you expect a bit of a challenge... and neither Seymour nor Sin offered it.
Ultimecia (FF8) - she was STRONG, but mainly because she had 4 boss fights before her, and in one of them the opponent would unjunction your magic ( and thusly make you weaker for the rest of the fights) couple that with Ultimecia's ability to unjunction your stuff made her extrodinarily cheap. (Imagine having all your magic abilities which you set to make your stats better, removed so not only do you lose your magic but your stats drop, often times horribly... without the curaga junctioned to your hp, you end up with about 2000-3000 which is one of ultimecia's attacks) Oh and did I mention there was really no way to prevent the unjunctioning of your magic?
but if not for her cheap trick she would have been a pretty decent boss. But the unjunctioning is just too much

yeah i understand what your saying VZ some bosses you expect would give out challenge
hell thats why they made an ultra hard final fantasy XII!
as for ultimecia
>.> she ticked me off... battle was too long i dont remember how i defeated her but luck was on my side >.>
Sephiroth - March 6, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
Well...in order for me to defeat ultimecia i had to start a new game, cause my old game wasn't good enough to defeat her, come on i couldn't even defeat griever for crist sake... not mention that in ultimacia's castle most part of the mosnters don't give any extrordinary exp like normaly in the last zones they would and also you couldn't recover your health unless you had recovery medice, like potions and stuff like that, so in the end you would end up loosing more than you would gain...so i started a new game filled with my hatred hate for ultimecia, trained all the characters to level 100 and their respective GF aswell and manage to get almost all the last weapons for all characters and in the end i still had some trouble defeating her...but i managed to defeat her....after a one hour fighting....the only time it spent more than one hour figthing with any boss from any game was in ff9 against OZMA...now that's one heck of a good and hard to defeat boss...not mention omega weapon...wtf is with that monster! I mean has the game wasn't hard enough, they decided to put one of the most dificult mosnters ia place where you couldn't recover your health without lossing some potions...damn...
