thefishofdoom - March 2, 2007 11:07 PM (GMT)
whats the saddest fictional thing you have ever seen
for it come down to 3 things

1.Frys Dog(Futurama)
2.Calvin on Ritalin(Calvin and Hobbes)
3.Cowboy Bebops last episode(Cowboy Bebop)

Sephiroth - March 3, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
By sadest you mean stupid or just sad?

thefishofdoom - March 3, 2007 02:33 AM (GMT)
sad

Dictator - March 3, 2007 02:44 AM (GMT)
Pokemon the book. I broke into tears when Ash got his Charmander. TEARS I TELL YOU!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

A.J. The Echidna - March 3, 2007 02:59 AM (GMT)
I remember the first time I felt saddened by a fictional piece was the first time I saw the Pokemon episode "Pikachu's Goodbye". The last time I felt like that was when I watched the last episode of Redwall last year. It's the last episode of the third season(Martin the Warrior).

Link - March 3, 2007 03:36 AM (GMT)
Ah yes...I remember Redwall pretty wall...Espically Martian The Warrior. One of the best books I've read in quite sometime. But I have one thing that will trump all of these. (At least for me anywayes) The anime called Air...Jeez...If the episodes weren't good enough. They did some of the saddest things in an anime I've ever seen! They brought me to tears...I didn't think I'd ever cry for an anime charcter, but I was dead wrong...Espically the final episode of the series. I couldn't help but cry at her final words...

Sephiroth - March 3, 2007 03:44 AM (GMT)
The las episode of Chrono Crusade defenatly...i actualy criied and my girlfriend was right beside when that happen...and she cried too...it was realy a very touching moment...till my nethew entered my room and started jumping all around the place bugging us to play with him :idontknow:

Dictator - March 3, 2007 04:37 AM (GMT)
He was trying to cheer you up. Though I've never seen Chrono Crusade or read the manga, but I've wanted to.

Sephiroth - March 3, 2007 05:20 AM (GMT)
You should...it's one of the best animes out there...i downloaded the episodes with some help from viruszero, in order to put them here, cause as you probably know, i posted a topic with all the episodes from Chrono Crusade till episode 9...but the strangest thing is that the moment i uploaded them in youtube, 2 hours later they were already removed by youtube's staff...they even sent me an threatning message saying that they would remove my account if i ever infriged any more copyright's...

Link - March 3, 2007 05:30 AM (GMT)
Happened to me when I posted one AMV...Still I haven't seen Chrno Crusade, but I'm sure I'll finally get the chance to watch it. But for now...Watch Air. It's pretty good.

Sephiroth - March 3, 2007 05:54 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure you will like that show...too bad you didn't had the chance to view at least half of the anime when i posted the episodes here on hellblaze...

Dictator - March 3, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
Try uploading it in parts, they generally don't remove things that are added in parts.

VirusZero - March 4, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
Youtube removes alot of things added in parts, it's just whether they catch you is the thing. They especially like to remove anime episodes and AMVs that use anime scenes.

but for me the saddest things I've ever seen (that I can remember at this point) were:

FMA ending
Chrno crusade ending
Megaman Zero 4 ending

(the Chrno crusade episodes on Anime-eden were recently removed because someone made a complaint about it, and due to AE's policy if someone makes a complaint they remove the offending material. So you'll have to try searching a few other places. I believe KragaMuffin still has it uploaded... just google Kragamuffin, click the first link and scroll a long way down the page past the melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, full metal alchemist and ghost in the shell.)

Sephiroth - March 4, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
Thanks VirusZero ;) ...i'll try to do that...i know don't but if them allow me to link, i'll might just re-do my old post of Chrono Crusade episodes, fix the links from the current episodes and post some new ones...it was ashame that all those things hapened, since some menbers were realy enjoying the show :'(

Link - March 4, 2007 09:07 PM (GMT)
Yeah true...Oh I just remembered the Zero 4 ending thanks to VZ...Wow...I can't believe I forgot that. There's also the ending to "This Ugly Yet Beautiful World" It was sad, and it seemed like they left a way for another anime season to come. Too bad there's no word on it yet...Oh and I can't forget Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. When they parted ways in the final episode...I couldn't help but feel real sad.

Dr.Tails - March 9, 2007 03:25 PM (GMT)
for me it would have to be the movie
"The Fox and the Hound"
they were best friends who were forced to fight each other, how sad

I dont remember the megaman thing, somebody explain

VirusZero - March 9, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
Ok, I can explain it to you, though it contains MASSIVE spoilers for megaman Zero 4, So if anyone hasn't beat it yet, I suggest they not read from here on...

SPOILERS BEGIN-

Ok, at the end of Megaman Zero 4, Zero gets set to battle Dr. Weil, and Weil then merges with the Ragnarok control core. Zero defeats Weil but in doing so it sends the Ragnarok station falling towards Earth. But Weil isn't defeated yet, and he rises up again and challenges Zero again, Ceil interjects that if Zero doesn't leave now that both of them will die. Zero refuses saying that Weil and Ragnarok must be stopped, regardless of the cost. Zero then battles Weil again. Zero wins and the death of Weil breaks the space station up, but it's too late the space station had started to enter Earth's atmospehere and now the falling pieces of the station are creating too much interference so Zero can't be warped out. Zero rides the falling debris to his demise. All that remains of Zero is a wrecked helmit found in the desert, by the rest of the surviving space station that didn't burn up on re-entry.

the episode of naruto with the hokages funeral i cried :ashamed:

Link - March 13, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
Ah the 3rd Hokage's funeral was actually sad...Zero's death was amazingly touching, and sad. But if you thought the 3rd Hokage's funeral was sad...Man, get ready. There are way more deaths to be expected in the next episodes of Naruto. The manga has already killed off like two other charcters...

pika4567 - March 28, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
i kno 1 other person who dies but i never really liked him

Link - March 29, 2007 04:04 AM (GMT)
Meh...Well I've also started watching Kanon 2006. Pretty sad anime...Couple of deaths in it too.

blazermax - March 29, 2007 10:50 AM (GMT)
almost all the zatch bell episodes ( jap version ) was sad

Dictator - March 29, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
Well the actual most sadenning fictional thing ever for me was, everything I stated before in this topic was pure sarcasm, hmm.... I don't know Azuma's death in Naruto? I mean he was my favorite sensei and then he gets killed by Mr. Invincible of the Akastuki. Even though I've never actually been sad by something fctional that's what I'd say was my saddest moment for now, either that or Shadow's fall off the Ark before I knew of Sonic Heroes(Which was a few years after SA2) Basically that moment has lost any meaning now though.

pika4567 - March 29, 2007 11:06 PM (GMT)
o ya kanon d end is sad
