Description: Was he ever really lost?

Why is it that whenever a celebrity goes "belly up" in the industry, that the main excuse they use is that they have found Jesus?
Why not just own up to the fact that they are not as popular as they used to be, and use that time for something else?
Shoot, with all of the celebrities who say that they have walked away from fame to find god, or jesus, you'd think that he would have been found by now..

Not really. See, when they think they found Jesus or they're in touch with God it's a literal meaning. The Bible is like one big "Where's Waldo?" book. Inside the words and everything, there are hidden pictures you have to look carefully to find. When they look through, they think they find Jesus because there's another picture of a guy wearing a "Hey Zeus" T-Shirt. However, no one has been able to find Jesus in the bible. He's alot harder then Waldo ever was.
As for God, he's a tough one to get in touch with. Prayers go to his G-mail(God-Mail) and that can take centuries to look through as he constantly has new ones coming in. The thing is, only the g-mail that he gets while he's actually checking the messages get answered. To get in touch with him you have to decrypt a large amount of numbers from the bible and then use it one your phone. There's a patern to finding God's phone number, but no one knows it. The devil keeps to a bunch of 6s however.

I can understand that much, but my main thing is that why is it that people would wait until they are not famous anymore to get in touch with their religion?
Timing is everything.
If they were all that dedicated to having a closer relationship with God, or Jesus, then why not do so beforehand? Why not make time for it while in the spotlight?
If these people have enough time to go to fancy restaurants, clubs, or parties, or have sex with many many people (some times all at once) then why can't they make time for their religion as well?

Now, in all seriousness. It's probably because they don't feel religion is as important of an aspect of their life as luxeries are. However, fulfilling the philosophical idealogies of ones life is probably the most important thing there is to life, as life is based around religion and philosophy. As unlikely as it is, sometimes it could be placed as a publicity act. When a star loses fame they need to be publicized, so they do drastic things. The Jannet Jackson act for instance. That was obviously for publicity. I can't really say why one would wait until they lose fame for sure however, obviously it's not that important to them.
