Title: Maury Povich

I admit that his shows are pretty good even though they are redundant..
I mean they are either paternity test, unruly teens, controlling men, fat babies, make overs, or the shows where they showed 2 very different people in a relationship.. like an 80 year old woman with a 28 year old man.. or a 6ft tall man, married to a female dwarf.. or a 600lb man, married to a 90 lb woman.. etc...
The controlling men, and the unruly teen shows piss me off..
Have any of you seen this show?

Yes... And the best way to describe it is, "I'M THE BABY'S DADDY!"

lol did you see the one where this woman tested like 20 different men, and NONE OF THEM WERE THE FATHER??
I love it when you have the guys who come out, and say mind your business when they are on NATIONAL TV and decided to come on the show..

Yeah it's because they're stupid and agree to this stuff before they fully understand. Even if they do understand they're generally just trying to excuse themselves from this stuff.
By the way, the only guy they didn't test that episode was Maury himself.

 I agree..
but honestly, how naive would you have to be to think that a guy who has been abusing his wife, or a teen, who has been abusing their family, for years, could have a change of heart overnight, by getting yelled at, or visiting a jailhouse, or seeing someone who was a burn victim, or paralyzed?
More importantly, how naive would you have to be to think that the people being controlled, or have low self-esteem will be a lot stronger, or more confident with a make-over?

I can say first hand that you'd have to be naive because it doesn't happen like that. People have to mentally grow. Then again most people have a hard time realizing this stuff. It's ignorance in a way as well. But that's TV for you.

I like maury, but sometimes his show is more than I can take. You always have the baby daddy denying paternity, with his new wife right next to him cussing out the baby mama...I can't stand the yelling sometimes.
And when will people realize that a kid doesn't have to look exactly like the dad for it to be his...
