Has anyone seen it?! I'm hoping to go catch the midnight showing of it here in California. I hear it's better then the first two? Care to enlighten us anyone?

Black Angel - May 5, 2007 07:09 AM (GMT)
My mom saw it.. she said that it was better than the first 2 as well.. I might see it soon..

I wasn't able to watch it...Seems they were sold out. I'm glad to hear it's living up to the hype.

Snowflame - May 5, 2007 10:55 AM (GMT)
I will see it soon, its on the cinemas here.

I seen it yesturday. It kicked so much butt on so many levels but I had a few complaints as far as how they made Venom. He need a much more deeper and sadistic voice and should've roared more instead of screeched.

Dr.Tails - May 7, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
i saw it yesterday too(Sunday)
i thought it was an overall good movie, i thought it was gonna be better but it was still pretty good.
I didn't think venom would show up in this one though, sure Eddy was in the beginning of the movie, i just thought he was gonna go Venom in the next one.
He wasn't a very good Venom either, they used that guy from that 70's show. He was way smaller than sandman.
The movie was good though, i love spiderman, he's my favorite hero.
The funnist parts was when Peter put on the symbiot and was tryin act all bad and what not.

VirusZero - May 7, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
heh, when peter was being "bad" he looked more emo than anything. And I agree venom should have been a different person, cause venom has always been portrayed as a much larger person. (The symbiote adding much muscle mass to brock.)
But the movie felt rushed in some places but too slow in others... (ie rushed when the symbiote came to earth and slow when peter was being "bad")

*Nodding* Hm...I can't agree with most of the facts due to me only owning the game...Still, I think Venom wasn't protrayed that badly. As for any guess on Spider-Man 4...I say MJ is killed in the next one.

VirusZero - May 8, 2007 11:25 PM (GMT)
I heard that this was the final one of the trilogy... that there isn't going to be another. But I'm not sure how reliable of news this was... (seing as how I can't remember where I heard it.)

Link - May 9, 2007 04:52 AM (GMT)
Not many sources are that reliable these days. At least until we hear it from the directors themselves.

OCAZ - May 11, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Spider-Man 3 was good, but not as good as i expected. I think they had to much story to cover which made it seemed rushed like VirusZero said. But some of the fight scenes were much more raw than any other spiderman movie.

And a lot of tears drop in this movie (too many for me)

Black Angel - May 11, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
A movie will have a sequel, as long as the prequel, and the current movie are making money.. there are a few exceptions, in that it is the director's decision, as well as the actors and actresses..

But usually, it all depends on how much money was made from it..

I don't get it, why would they make a sequel? A trilogy sounds just fine to me... I think that if they ended it with spiderman3, it would be just fine. But a whole other movie? I just don't think they should....

ramenradio - May 15, 2007 03:19 AM (GMT)
well, no it's not that I don't get it. Rather I don't like how everything is about money... I think it should just stay a trilogy. :(

VirusZero - May 15, 2007 03:53 AM (GMT)
Spiderman 4... I think it would be a huge mistake... The hype alone would set expectations so high it would be impossible to live up to them. People would get disappointed, reviews would crush it and it wouldn't do so great.

But I do think there was enough content in this one movie to make it into 2 movies...

Thusly splitting up some of the dull sections more. Also it would give more time to focus on where the symbiote came from, what it was, what it does, passing it to brock and then a final confrontation... (The spiderman cartoon of 1994 alone took 3, 30 min eps to do all that. There's no eason they couldn't have made it better, especially seeing as how Venom is truely spiderman's greatest foe/rival.)

BlackCloudX - May 15, 2007 11:46 AM (GMT)
i seen it May 1st

it was awesome and good

the movie could have been better butits still a good movie

best spiderman movie ive seen IMO

spiderman-4 big no no

what about spidergirl? spidermom!

Dr.Tails - May 15, 2007 01:56 PM (GMT)
yeah they shouldn't make another spiderman, things start losing its touch when there are so many of them (ex. Lion King, Mulan, SpyKids, Bourne Identity, etc)
i don't see why they just didn't make it longer, you know how long TiTanic was! I guess the producers didn't have money in the bank. If you ask me, there's not gonna be another movie, they didn't leave any cliff hangers in the end, all the bad guys went away and the day was saved. unless they some how bring venom back, or talk about how SpiderMan goes out with the new chick

Megamastermaind - June 18, 2007 04:39 PM (GMT)
Well, I say it WAS good, but to exactly awesome. VirusZero was right when he said some parts were rushed, but then again, when you go see a movie based on a comic/game/TV show, you never see the same thing you're used to.
