Which do you use? Which do you prefer? Why?

MS office is what I use, why? simply because it came repackaged with my laptop, and why bother to change to another when I have a perfectly good one already installed. Plus this way if anything goes wrong with it and/or it affects my laptop, I can take it to the help desks and tell them whats wrong and they can fix it for me. ( So I don't have to screw around with trying to get it to work. )

I have both.. and I've used both.. but in the grand scheme of things, I really prefer OOo.. it starts up faster, and it doesnt take as much space on my HDD..

It also starts up faster than Word, or Excel, because it is not pre-loaded into the memory like Office.. (and many other MS programs for that matter..)

In addition to that, OOo is a good alternative for those who can't afford MSOffice..
