If you were given the choice, would you take the Money or the Box? Why?

If you are given a choice between let's say 20 dollars, or what was in the box what would you choose? Why?

Okay *thinks* 20$x3=60pln...
Even for me it isn't much, so I would rather choose a box. It is more credible that the box would provide something more valuable, or/and useable (when for examples there are no shops around). The box may also contain something which is really rare and hard to buy. Or it could be something valuable in personal way, like the lost picture or a token after a dead friend or relative. The box could also contain some posion or bomb, but let's say that the box is a gift and won't explode.

The box could also contain a penny.. or nothing at all, so for that reason, I choose the money.. I am guaranteed to have the money, and is there for a safer bet, than choosing the box. <= that is if there was 10K on the table, then I would choose the money.. but it if was something insignificant like a nickel, or a penny, then I would choose the box.

well for me, 20 bucks is alot of money, so i would have to choose the money. Who knows how much is in the box, its safer to go with the money. This reminded me of a episode of Family Guy, where peter choose's the box instead of a new boat
