Title: What would you do if..

Black Angel - May 24, 2007 04:33 AM (GMT)
What would you do if you overheard 2 people talking about you behind your back?

I have had this happen. I was in class working and this girl was talking to one of my so called friends, and she was saying all this stuff about me. But he, well he liked her too much to disagree with anything she said, so I clearly heard her saying this stuff, he wasn't agreeing, but neither was he disagreeing or defending me. (Of course, this could be that he didn't want to say anything cause he knew I could hear what she was saying, and he wanted no part in it.)

Now what I did was, I ignored what they said (Even when she had the audacity to write it all down and hand deliver it to me). I ignored her, and as far as my friend went... I wanted nothing to do with him (and because they were always together, her.) So I moved on, found some new friends that didn't talk about me behind my back, and was better off for it.

I'd listen, and the next time they came around me trying to be nice, I'd politely say that I'd never respect anyone who didn't have the balls to say what they had to say about me to my face, instead of behind my back.. then I'd proceed to tell them both what I really think of them, (but was too polite to say it out loud..) before flashing them a dirty look and then walking away.

Besides, if they'd anything nice to say about me, then why would they be talking about me behind my back?

Id do the exact same thing to them. id go up to one of my friends and say, you see that guy over there, yeh and just do all this stuff at a tone i know they could hear

I'd turn around and tell em to shut their traps.

Well, it's happened to me. I usually just ignore it. Most of the time the people don't even know me, they don't have a place to speak until they do.

I always say that if ya don't say it to ME, it doesn't count...

well thats happened to me before, but only with girls that like me or something. At least thats all i've heard people talking about behind my back. They don't really talk about insults or anything like that, they just say things like "the things i'd do to him", which is when i'd slowly walk away. I can't really remember a time someone talked rudely about me behind my back, if they do, then it's in my face.
The only person who does that to me is my little sister, but thats family so i just beat her up after words, we're just playing around though.

I don't get talked about behind my back too much anymore though. The last time it happened was two years ago, and even then someone told me what they were saying about me so I knew, even though I'd have appreciated it if those people would have said it to me up front.

I ignore it, but I think to myself "If they can't say it to my face, then they don't need to say it at all."

SethWhiteFox - July 16, 2007 07:32 AM (GMT)
Depends on what there saying...

How do you know there not saying: " So-in-so is the niceist guy/gal in the world!"

Or even something helpful like: " Were gonna chuck a water boloon at so-in-so at 12:24 exactly!"

XD I Monty Python'd your question! "WHAT KIND OF SAOLW!?"
*Once again a refrence I havent auctually seen T.T*
