yup, i tryed saving up for a Wii once, i want once really bad, but i ended up buying a new DS Lite so my friend could have my old one. Yeah they said that sonic coming to Smash Bros is not in the cards right now, i dont think he's gonna show up. But i do hope they have more unlockable characters then they showed, Viewtiful Joe or Diddy Kong would be nice.

I think Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is a big enough tell that Sonic will be in Smash Bros. and they also have Sega composers working on the game.

Ummm... That's a sports game and Brawl is fighting. Usually guest appearences don't bridge genres that are vastly different. (Snake is third party so he's excused.) Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see Sonic in it, I just don't see it happening.

Well I see Sonic's inclusion as high as Zelda's reinclusion. And concidering she's in thats a preety big precent.

The grounds for my basies is all of the interrelations bewteen Nintendo and Sega. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, not just any game, but is the official game sponcered by the Olympics, that new Sonic RPG thats comeing out for the DS, the signs are all around us!

Not to metion that Sakuri has stated a list of ways for characters to get in. Now why would he do this unless he wanted to make more inclusions?

Furthermore I can't think of a new third party character who deserves, no needs, the right in then Sonic! Tell me one gamer, heck even one normal person, that hasent wondered who would donomate? Mario or Sonic?

But for me I see all character inclusions as a precent juged by fanbase, and company relation. But precentages are nothing, beceause human kind is very spoaintanious. Heck I can assume that Black Devil X wants to put Cloud in his new FFSX serise beceause I found a post of him saying he needed the sprites. In the end all we can do is wait and see! Thats why Brawl is so great!

...but zelda's not a third party person, and the owners of sonic said it doesn't look in the cards for him to be in the game right now...still though, a guy can dream

DT beat me to the punch, but also, Sonic has been showing up on Nintendo because Sega no longer has a console to call thier own. (The dreamcast screwed them over I guess.)

XD I KNOW Zelda isent a third party person. I was compareing Sonic's changes to that of a first party person.
(I was insenuwaiting that there REALLY high chances! Like, so high that wait a few weeks and Sonic will be on Sakuris website.)

And don't think that Sonics on Nintendo platforms only beceause "the Dream cast screwed him over", thats far from the truth. I'm telling ya, just look around you. Look at all the signs. What I'm speaking of isent a dream, its very much a reality. I'd say at least a 80% chance. Maby 75% at the absolute lowest!(But I'm talking Sega walks up to Nintendo and takes a dump in there coffie machine, even then it'd be 75% XD)

The signs are everywhere, Sonic's appearence in Brawl is very much a reality.
...Now Cloud on the other hand..(Drools) More like a 35-40% Very unlikely. Only thing he has for him is that he played the leading role of one of the world quests on the Herc planet on Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memorys, for the GBA. However what is working for him is that Square insinwated that if a offer was made Cloud could make an appearence. And the fact that...Well...Square is Square, there gonna want in. And seeing that...Well...Square is Square, they'll wana hore off there major fan boy magnet, Cloud!

..Hmmm What other characters can possibly get in...Oh well... Not that I would want it but heck even the Katamari prince could get in! Hes got a game on the Wii comeing out. However that is ALL thats working for him. The fan base isent as large as some of orther Konomi games.

When you think more into it from Konomi you would probally expect a appearence from a Castlevania character. Probally Siamon Baphumant, or however you spell his name.

Thats all I really want to think of right now. Just trying to show you how I come to conclusions to character decisions. Use methods like that and you can easily prove or disprove a character inclusion.

XD Look at me, it feels like I'm back at SmashBoards. Then again I doupt anyone here would understand the terms "Dash Danceing, SHFFLing, Wave Dashing, Chain throwing or any other Slang Smash brothers Melee term...


PS Animal Crossing town "SmashVille" confirmed as a stage for Brawl. However sence all the characters from Animal Crossing are auctually WATCHING you fight I would suppose that there counted as out of the Brawl fighter rooster...And I wanted to try fighting with Nook...

I can't let you make that bet for two reasons:

A) Your betting a loseing bet.
B) I can make my own sprite sheets just fine thanks. I however prefer drawing.

i second gameshrk on that losing bet, i would throw in a avatar and sig to go with the sheet if you won that. If Sega says sonic's not in the cards he's most likey not in the cards.
Im thinkin people who have been with Nintendo for a while like Baby Mario/Luigi, Daisy, Birdo, Diddy, Slippy(StarFox), Koopa Kid, MegaMan, More Pokemon, Viewtiful Joe. Ya know things of that nature

I am 100% sure Snake will be a playable character.
I am 99.9% sure that Sonic isn't a playable character.
I am 80% sure jigglypuff will return.
I am 70% sure King Dedede will be in Brawl
I am 60% sure one of the Fire Emblem characters won't be coming back.
I am 50% sure the assist trophies will be awesome.
I am 40% sure Geno will be a playable caracter.
I am 30% sure Zelda's attacks will change.
I am 20% sure the music will stink.
I am 10% sure this game will be delayed for an extra month.
I am 1% sure I will be able to get this game within a month of its release.

i am 99.9% sure i will get this game a year after it has already been released

When Nintendo(I thought it was Nintendo not Sega.>.>' I may be wrong.) said "Its not in the cards at the moment." they only ment that they were not debateing that and didn't plan on debateing that at that time.(he was refering cards as like cue cards, you know like a list of questions he could and couldent answer.) XD Be careful of takeing reps outta context.

By the way, how in f***s sake can you even have a 1% shure change that the music will suck?! Did you even SEE the list of composers Brawl has?

Jiggly, or Purin for the pureists, will most likely return. She(Or he? O.o)was an orignal. I think that Sakuri wont be getting rid of the orignals. If he gets rid of anyone I would think it would be a Melee adation.

Also concidering how long it took Sakuri to finally get an eta on Brawls completeion I think were looking at a solid date.

By the way, D.T., Vietufiul Joe is I belive a Capcom character, not Nintendo.(Even if it isent Capcom I know its not Nintendo..) However he would make a good third party addation.

By the way I watching the E3 Nintendo Confrence and Satru Iwata MAJORLY inswinted that Sonic was gonna be in Brawl.

He led into his Brawl speech after talking about Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and the way he talked about it... Just feels like hes hideing something, then again when is Nintendo not hideing something? >.>'

Kinda screwed up by posing in the wrong place earlier... :-[ I've heard that they fixed the wavedash glitch that was in Melee, due to a change in the engine or something...

Eh I for one kinda like wave dash, it was never really a glitch, it didn't exploit any thing that wasent supposed to be in there, but I woulden't care to see it go.

By the way, the only thing I have heard of along that lines is that people think theres a new crawl system, if it works the way the majority of people think it will, it will at the very least make wavedashing hard, if not impossible.

Who knows tho, maby Nintendo acknowlages it, and crawling is like the new, but eayser to preform, wavedash.

Personally I like short hop more tho! =3

I think the ability to wave dash and all those other glitched up tricks in the game make some matches unfair for the people who can't do it.(like me)

Just like Snaking is annoying in Mario Kart DS...
