Title: GRAHAM CRACKERS CAUSE HALUCINATIONS!
Description: True story!
Gameshrk90 - July 15, 2007 03:37 AM (GMT)
About two days ago, around midnight, I began to become a little peckish. So I walked over to the kitchen in my Mom's house. (I'm still in Georgia.) I open the refrigerator and find nothing that would make a good snack. So I look over towards the microwave and see a box of NABISCO Honey Maid graham crackers. (Supposedly with more whole grain.) I think to myself, Why not? So I grab the box and grab a few grahams and stick them in a bowl, eat them, and put the bowl in the sink. I went back to the couch where I sleep and closed my eyes. I DIDN'T FALL ASLEEP!
This is where it began.
The next thing I know I was sitting in a desk listening to my math teacher teaching something about logrithims or something. I just sat there listening until the bell rung. I walked out of the room with the rest of the students and realized that I didn't remember where to go next. I checked my pockets and failed to find my schedule that I usually keep in there. So I decided to go to the office to get another schedule so I could find out where to go. As I walked through the halls I had a weird feeling. I finally reached the office, but I had to wait in a line. It took me a minute to realize that the people in front of me were significantly smaller than me. Then it hit me. They were 5th and 6th graders.
"What the-?" I ask in exasperation.
I took a look around and realized that I was in my old grade school!
"What am I doing here!? I'm a highschooler!" I yelled. I ran down the steps and bursted out the front door. I started to think I was dreaming, but then I felt a chill.
"I felt that!?" I asked getting very shocked. Then something else shocked me even more.
"How did I get back to Illinois!?" At this point, I was panicking and I dashed out accross the street through the crosswalk, only to start plummeting through an open manhole in the middle of the crosswalk.
I came back the reality with my back on the kitchen floor. I was cold from the fan overhead. Rather then dwell on what just happened, I just made my way back to the couch and fell asleep.
What am I doing now, you ask? I'm eatting some graham crackers my Mom gave me because she said they expire sometime this month.
This was a true, or at least mostly true, story.

UH OH WATCH OUT DR. DREAM IS HERE TO TALK YOUR EAR OFF!--
I have been studying dreams for 5 years now, but not psyco-therpy-mumbo-jumbo. I want you to tell me about this dream! How real did if feel? From what you've said your thought proceses seemed to be working fine, so we may be able to assume that this is no ordinary dream!
Lucid Dreaming!-The state of mind in which a persons mind realises that it is in a dream state. Said person can then control there dreams from withen, its like being the god of your own planet, no your own UNIVERSE!
ALOT of people don't know about lucid dreaming, but have lucid dreams every night! It comes natural to a select few! (I only wish I were one of those ones...T.T After 5 years of rescherch I have only had one mild one that only lasted about 4 dream minutes, and ended with me haveing a "False awakeing". But thats a term for another day! I didn't even have enought mental clarity to make anything happen...)
Anywho theres so much you can do when in a lucid dream, if you wish to know more tell me so and I will open a topic! Hell even if you don't want me too I probally will! Maby teaching people about this is just the kick I need to make myself more aware.*Fails to see the connection he JUST tryed to make, wollows in self pity...*

You know what, if you start your own thread, I just might give you a try..
I had 2 dreams in the same night that I travelled somewhere with Mr. Nest and we got lost..
The first one was on a flight to Europe, where our tickets expired because we couldn't find the airport, and we couldn't get back home because we spent all of our money trying not to starve to death..
The second one was in a car, only I was at the wheel, and somehow we ended up plummeting off of a bridge, and into the Atlantic..
Both dreams ended the same way.. with me waking up suddenly, and then rushing to the bathroom..

Lol. Sure. Actually in all of my dreams, I realize I am dreaming. However, if I try to edit them in any way, I wake up. So if I don't like a dream I'm having, I pretty much have an abort switch. I had this dream, but I just changed the events before it and after to make it funny.

Well... My brother once made me black out. >.> And I'll tell you, I had a dream during that black out that felt so real. I could feel the surroundings, and all my other senses were drowned out. As I slowly awoke, i could hear myself breathing heavily and sweating. At first I didn't know what it was, but then i remembered I had blacked out and I ended up on the kitchen floor... It's funny, because I didn't know that I had fallen to a black out because the dream was basically continuing with whatever I was actually doing in a realistic manner.
AND... If those are lucid dreams (Not the black out described above.), I must have a lot of them. Because I find myself choosing the dialogue I want in my dream, and the actions I wish to choose. Hell, sometimes the actions of others. However, i lose focus just as I'm about to wake up, so the dream loses its wonder and just when I wake up, I can remember the ending, and the middle, but never the beginning.
