Has anyone seen this show? If so, what did you think of it?

I haven't seen it. However I saw the original show, so I pretty much know the story:
A brilliant, but non-beatiful woman stuggles her way to happiness in her job as a secretary in a fashion company, with the obvious disadvantage of being unattractive. She falls in love with the company's president (Who at the beggining toys with her, and falling for her in the end), finds support on her equally unattractive friends(with the exception of one, but she's considered as one of them) and she will always come up with the best solutions for the company, not to mention she'll discover herself and that she was a beautiful woman all along.
It's a mixture of Cinderella and The Ugly Duckling if you ask me.

Ah...This show. I've heard of it, but it's never really appealed to me. Not to mention that I've seen a show like that on a Spanish channel. I believe it was called "La Fea Más Bella" The ugly more beautiful...Or something like that. If I were to translate it into direct English. Actually both Ugly Betty, and the one I mentioned are based on another Spanish soap opera.
I guess you can I've seen Ugly Betty in a way. >.<

"Stuffed with silicone, botox and collagen like much of Hollywood is nowadays"
You're totally right in that one, Black Angel.
But about that mixture I talked earlier, I was talking about the plot: Betty (or Lety, or US Betty, whichever one you prefer) falls for the modern equivalent for "Prince Charming", but since she's unattractive, she's pretty much the underdog. However, with the help of a new friend, Betty's spirit gets boosted up, and with a make over, she becomes highly attractive, discovering she was pretty all along.

America Ferrera is a very beautiful woman, and she is very talented as well, the costume that they have her in doesn't cover up her natural beauty at all.. but what I've always wondered was, what ever happened to aging gracefully?

Aging gracefully died out when all of these stupid products for skin and everything else came out and everyone's desire to look young.
