'Lifes not fair' and 'What goes around, comes around.' I like these two because they contradict eachother and most everybody uses them.

"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." -- Albert Einstein
This is my favorite quote because it perfectly describes my beliefs on the ongoing debate between Science and Religion, and their relation to one another.. in that, I believe they support each other.

A few of my favourites are:
"It is better to remain silent, and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt. " --(First heard it from my cousin, true source unknown)
"Don't argue with an idiot, they'll only bring you down to their level then beat you with experience." --(also first heard from my cousin, true source unknown)
"Thick like tree, dense like forest." --(again, another one I heard from my cousin)

'One who asks a question is a fool for 10 minutes. One who never asks a question is a fool for a life time.'
It basically says don't be afraid to ask a question, learn. I heard it at a graduation first and have remembered it since. It was first said by a Chinese Philosopher.

'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' The golden rule, if I had a dollar for every time I passed an object with this phrase on it, I'd still be broke, but I'd be broke with lots of stuff.
