I remember back in the DAY, everybody use to do both (even though most people didn't play the card game correctly) and even I still watch the anime from time to time. You'd be surprised at how many people still love it on the crazy level though o.o (im one of them >:])

I made a lucario sig and avy set out of complete boredom. It was a few days ago sometime last week.

I used to be a big Pokemon Diamond player but I recently got bored of it!

I heard a rumor about the last pokemon game being for the ds and will have every reigon and every pokemon.

I have, Red blue yellow Gold and Silver version. I got all 151/251 pokemon in the games (150/250 all legit 151 with a GS) then more pokemon came out and i couldnt handle it no more >=(

I never try to catch em all i just get the ones I like.

I've had yellow [my fav,] red, and gold. I've played blue and silver as well, but no others, ... well I played either ruby or saphire once but only for a little while, long enough to get the runnin' shoes, and that was it. I'm thinkin' about gettin' back into the series because I like turn-based games but I'll get a DS first, and only after I get a Wii.

I started hateing the serise around the Metal versions, then started likeing it again around the Lucario movie realise. He is badass, I got Diamond just cuz him.

They should have it so that you can have your party leader walk behind you like in Yellow.

I do. :blink: I collect the cards(and play with them) and watch the anime (FOR MY OWN REASONS). My favorate pokemon? not now...and there's nothing you can do about it, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA but anyway, I own: Blue version, Gold version, Crystal version, Leaf Green version, Ruby version, Pearl version, Pokemon pinball, Pokemon pinball Ruby & Saphire, Pokemon green version(it was only released in japan) Yellow version, trading card game, trading card game gameboy(Japenese version) pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, (XD lol) and Pokemon Project studio Red Version.(computer game) and my card collection ranges from 1,000 - 10,000 cards and is worth nearly $1,000,000 at the most.(and growing) Am I a pokemon fan? ;) Or am I just crazy? Not to mention dolls, graphic novels, board games, posters, recording the anime with DVR...and so on. Don't think I'm crazy though, really. I will most likly be posting in here more than all of you though. ;) and BTW, Lucario SUCKS!!! My lvl.100 Palkia could easily take anything out. :) And I am NOT one of those people who want a lvl.100 Dialga for a lvl.2 Bidoof in case you were wondering. GO! STARAPTOR!!! lol, makes me happy. :)

and @ blazing heartnix, I was just luck you finding that nidoran, differently coloured pokemon appear at random and not very often, you just happened to find it there...I found a green rattata on route 1 once in gold version, and found a green doduo on route...uh, the one left on celadon city in LeafGreen. anyway, so that's it. :|

I got out of Pokemon after second grade or something like that.. so I really only know the originals..

I don't watch the anime or play the card games and the only Pokemon games I like to play these days are Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald as well Fire Red.

My favourite Pokemon are Charizard, Treecko, Espeon, Umbreon, Scizor and
Typhlozion or however you spell it's name.

lol! Anyway, I can't really decide on a favorate myself. (there ARE over 490 of 'em after all...493 to be exact) But if I have to choose...hmm...Mew I guess. I know how to catch mew normally in red/Blue version by the way if anyone wants to know. sorry, I can't proof it with a screenshot or anything, but it's true. you can ask me, but if you don't I'll keep quiet. :whistle:

i do too, i'll be the first to say it

first off: (i suggest you do new game first trust me) go to cerulian city, beat the five guys on the bridge (must have abra)after beating all those guys and team rocket SAVE THE GAME then y'know the guy in the grass right next to the bridge; stand in front of him (not were he can see you) take one step and inmediately press start (the guy will spot you but can't do anything about it) choose abra teleport go to the gym and beat the guy in the water; then go tothe bridge the menu will pop up, press b button and you will encounter mew level 5.

(sorry that i don't pause in my sentences)

You don't have to beat the guy in the water acually...I didn't have to. And I thought it was a higher level then 5...maybe it's the way you do, it, but maybe I just don't remember...Oh well, it dosn't matter. Lucky for me, I hadn't beaten the guy in the grass to the right, or I couldn't have caught him...yeah, lucky.

mew is an ok pokemon but u need to teack him good attacks since he learns a few nice but not wow attacks.

But Mew can learn every TM/HM in the game :blink:

hey buster, is there a sure fire way to get celebi? no seriously, there's got to be a way other than nintendo promotions and stuff... so far i got 249 (still waiting for the guy to call and say stuff that quilfish appeared) some say it's impossible to catch celebi just like that, but they said the same thing with mew and mew IS catchable so...

Hmm...all I know about Celebi is that he has somthing to do with the gaurdian whatever-it-is in Ilix forest, there's a fake cheat going around regaurding the GS ball and the Japenese version(note: never trust a cheat code that says it only works in the japenese version...especially if it's on a site like cheatcc or cheat planet, because people are just being NOOBish, and want to make people think they know stuff), and he's part of my pokemon card collection...XD Anyway, I don't know much about Celebi, however I don't remember anything saying Celebi was ONLY obtainable via a Nintendo event...I'll see if I can get any info. =p

Yea its true he's only available in nintendo event :[

deoxys [I went to get him in rockafelle]
jirachi [You need to either go to a nintendo event or find the jirachi download disc on ebay]
celebi [Was only availible in coney island in the u.s. during world tour]
mew [you had to get it from some kind of scan card for the gba E-reader]

these are all the ones i know of

Or if you had a Gameshark or Action Replay you could get them easily.
