Live action MegaMan movie. Not done by Hollywood, done by a fan for the fans.

According to the Director they started shooting on the 10th (of this month)... With a tentative release date of Christmas 2008.

And This video is NOT a trailer for the movie, (it was made years ago as a project for college and taken no further, it was an inspiration for the real movie but everything else will be different.)

So what do you think?

Heh, I figured that'd show up at some point... But in all honesty the movie seems interesting to me. Especially where we're at an age where everyday people have access to the tools of nigh, if not, professional quality, and use them to create things they really want. Hollywood rather loses it's appeal when a fan made film can rival Hollywood's finest productions...

Though my understanding of the film thus far is no spandex... More akin to the armored look of Megaman X.

Yeh. I think that David Gallagher (Roxas or that guy from 7th heaven) should be megaman.

David Gallagher didn't play Roxas.

Mega Man movie eh? Will it have a theme song?

Super fighting robot....MEGA MAN!

Sounds interesting, but Mega Man doesn't seem right in live-action.

Quite honeestly I'd rather see it liveaction and done by a fan rather than live action done by Hollywood. (Cause hollywood would screw it up... They'd probably use a 10 yr old for megaman. And that'd be painful to watch/listen to.)

The only way I'd like the pros to make a megaman movie would be an animated one. CGI or traditonal animation only... Either or, but not live action. Hollywood couldn't get it right, they'd be too concerned with money in their pockets as opposed to getting the story right and making sure the characters were good for the story.
