Now most of you probably took a look at the title of this topic and said" big deal, a max payne movie was to beging shooting in 2005" well i have been scampering around the internet on this topic. and saw a poster for the original max payne move starring Mel Gibson as Max and Agelina Jolie as Mona. At that moment I didn't really care as long as i got to see Max Payne on the big screen. Later I noticed a trailer for a movie called Max Payne Payne and Redmption. This trailer was featured one day on g4 tv's online version of The Feed. Everybody thought this movie was a fake mainly becuase of the trailler saying Chaptere III. The movie is real but it's only a 20 min short film that hasn't been released yet. and for a 20 min film it's been in production WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too long. u can get more info on it at www.payneandredemption.com

but thanx to the most recent issue of Gamepro Magazine the shooting for the movie is confirmed to start this month starring Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne. I also looked on fox movies website a while back and noticed that it has the max payne movie scheduled to be released in december. earlier would be nicer but seeing that the movie is shooting this month and isn't scheduled to be released a year later I won't complain. The director of the movie says they are going to shoot for a pg-13 rating. so thats good news for all u people who aren't 17 and play m rated games and want to see a max payne movie but if its rated r ur parents won't let u.

Wow...That would actually be a good movie. COnsidering the game was so twisted n fucked up. They Could even get some bullet time action in there

yea Bullet time is the best

i play dodgeball like its the civil war so all my classmates in school have given me my high school name. which is Bullet time. of coursse running around with dodgeballs in my hand screaming "BULLET TIME BULLET TIME!" jumping, spinning, dodgeing enemy balls, blocking enemy balls, sumersaulting, and scampering away without getting hit kinda helped. but as far as the movie goes, i've been waiting for this movie for like, 4 years. its about freakin' time they got started.

so who saw the max payne movie and what are your thoughts on the matter?

I haven't but I just might.. I have always been somewhat interested in movies that are based on games, even if I wasn't really interested in the games themselves..

I'd probably go if Mr. Nest wanted to see it..

It looked ok, but I wasn't too interested in it so I probably won't see it unless it's on somewhere one day.

The movie was alright. I think Mark Walburg did an amazing job, but it just wasnt all that great to me.

hoestly, i never played the game, i still need to play and pass a few games namely armored core 3 and nexus first but if this movie comes out i'll watch it.

Yes Payne and Redemption is a fan made movie approved by the creator of max payne...many believe this will be better than fox's move... I'm Phsyced....the movie i've waited 5 years to see..and then went to see the movie is coming to dvd this tuesday
