Title: Sports
Description: What are you into?
ClockHass - October 7, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
It's been on my mind lately. Since there's such a variety of people here. Does anyone enjoy sports, playing or watching them? If so, what ones?
BlackDevilX - October 9, 2008 08:56 PM (GMT)
I play all types of sports. I watch none of them. Cept football and Baseball. But not enough to know who's who and team records.
Phantos - October 9, 2008 08:59 PM (GMT)
I enjoy watching both basketball and football, but I enjoy playing basketball. I'm trying out for the varsity basketball team at my high school.
ClockHass - October 11, 2008 03:13 AM (GMT)
Basketball, Football, and Baseball are the main American sports. I used to play Basketball and Soccer but not anymore. I enjoy playing back yard football though and I'm playing Rugby this year. Rugby's an interesting sport because it's not the popular sport. I love the adrenaline it gives. Got my shirt torn off at practice Thursday.
Magnum_Wolfire - October 20, 2008 11:09 PM (GMT)
I play football, Basketball, volleyball, and a little of hockey....since it lets me play rough. And let's not forget streetfighting.
Football: I play for fun. TO hell with joining a school team, as I hate tights. I much rather play int he rain and muddy ground in my jeans. I don't watch NFL, but I keep track of the Brancos and the Bengals.........T_T....Bengals aren't doin so hot this year....in fact, they're as brittle as an Icecube....*cries* But the Brancos aren't too shabby...
Basketball: I really don't like it. I'm just quite good at it, so I play when I'm really bored.
Volleyball: Summer shnit. Fun. eh. I serve one hell of a spike though.
Hockey: Don't like the game itself, but I love getting into fights.
Streetfighting: I used to do this often when I lived in Richmond, VA. Now that i dunno nobody, I stopped fighting for the most part. That and also because they made it into an official sport. I know that a majority of fights end up on the ground and whatnot, but damn, that's really pathetic. I don't fight for that, I fight standing up! If someone's on the ground and they prefer it that way, then screw them. The meaning of fighting has almost turned completely around. SSSSSSSSSuckage...
Phantos - October 25, 2008 03:12 AM (GMT)
You used to street fight?
Magnum_Wolfire - October 25, 2008 03:30 PM (GMT)
Unofficially, but YESH.
I'd often have some guy who manages the money before the fight. They make negotiations and bets on who's gonna win the fight, then they let us at it. I've lost a fight before, but never one in an unofficial official(If that makes sense) streetfight. So I was able to rake in some good dough.
Phantos - October 25, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
Ah. So were you Ryu or Ken? *shot*
Magnum_Wolfire - October 25, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
Dude, wtf, That's a stupid question.
I was Dan. >_>;
Jk. lol
Phantos - October 25, 2008 09:48 PM (GMT)
Rofl. Yeah, I know. It was a bad joke. I just couldn't resist.
Mystic - November 24, 2008 05:28 PM (GMT)
I enjoy playing Football (Soccer if you're America), Hockey, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash, Dodgeball and rounders
But out of those I only reguarly play Football
Sephiroth - December 5, 2008 10:25 AM (GMT)
I guess i can say that i find interesting pretty much any kind of sport. Although i've played for quite some time soccer and basketball, right now, the only type of phisycal exercise i do is in the gym. I also practiced Tae-Kwon- Do, for a few years...i guess that any martial art can be considered as sport aswell...
ClockHass - December 5, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
I used to do Tae-Kwon-Doe. Never got very far in it, and I used to spar with people as well. That was always fun. I just enjoy the adrenaline and to be honest, the pain.
Sephiroth - December 5, 2008 08:03 PM (GMT)
Hey me too, after all, geting hurt is part of the process of becoming a good fighter. I also used to spar with my colegues too...sometimes i won, others i lost...i even lost to some girls...believe it, the girls in my class were ferocious :-_-:
ClockHass - December 5, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
Yeah, i lost to a girl before, but she was better trained, I was just some kid with a big head. It was at some Kung-Fu place and the rules were more wrestling styled, she knew just how to escape a grapple.
Sephiroth - December 6, 2008 02:38 PM (GMT)
When someone is better trained, even if you have talent, you will usualy end up being defeated. I never actually, participated in any kind of events, but like i said, i used to spar alot, those were the only times where i could test my skills, and even though i was good, there were alot of other people more talented than i was. But i guess that nowadays i know enough to protect myself.
Mystic - December 7, 2008 02:04 PM (GMT)
I'm overly competetive so if anything's a competition then I tend to partake
Magnum_Wolfire - January 9, 2009 03:12 AM (GMT)
I'm about to take up airsoft sport as a hobby. Basically, bb-guns.
I had two bb-guns (given to me) when I was 7, and I loved them. I forgot to take them with me when we moved from Korea(I hid them because my mom wouldn't tolerate bb-guns...at least, I thought so.) so they were lost. Two years ago, my dad bought me one, but there was a cool sandy area nearby. As cool as it was, the dust contributed to the destruction of my gun. Now, since my step-dad has yet to give me Flash, I rebuked my request and asked for an airsoft pistol as a late christmas present. I'm getting the
KWC HPA Colt Gold Cup Softair pistolYou'd best believe that if I didn't have my money focused on games(and I have the urge to go to the bank), I'm be buying electric machine guns of of www.shortyusa.com ....

Uhhhh. Detroit FTW. Duh. lol
Just kidding. I think that above sentence was my most text based sentence I have ever made. I never make a text worded sentence like that even while texting. :P
I don't really care though. I gave up on watching Football ever since my teams started on a major route toward no-ends epic FAIL.
Magnum_Wolfire - January 14, 2009 02:44 AM (GMT)
Couldn't have been as bad as my team. bengals had 5 straight losses. You can have many losses, but five STRAIGHT losses.... They made a tie though. At least we had some publicity...>_>
I was glad Gators won. Some idiot was prancin around the school talkin 'bout how they were gonna get pwnt. He looked like an idiot the next day. lol.
EDIT: I got nothing against the ravens or steelers, so I'll rute for whichever team has the most points at half-time.(But then, that's what I always do...'cept for Redskins. they can die. So can Cowboys....IMO BTW)
ClockHass - January 14, 2009 11:43 AM (GMT)
No. Detroit was my team. I'm glad I gave up while I was ahead. They had 16 straight losses. Sucks to be them.

'oly shit.
I'm sorry about your horrible loss.
XD
I need to start keeping track of other teams. lol
Phantos - January 16, 2009 12:52 AM (GMT)
Rofl! It could be worse, you could have bet on Alabama to win against Florida.
Magnum_Wolfire - February 2, 2009 10:30 PM (GMT)
I didn't watch the game, but I heard the Cardinals failed and the Steelers won. I was hoping for the Cardinals to win just for the sake of them winning. (Their first and all)
Phantos - February 2, 2009 11:40 PM (GMT)
I saw the game. It was extremely close, but the Steelers came out on top, 27-23. They just squeaked by, but they got by. Well, now they're gonna go for the other hand.
ClockHass - February 3, 2009 03:58 AM (GMT)
Arizona didn't even look like they were playing football for most of the game. I don't know what was with them but their only good quarter was the 3rd.
Phantos - February 20, 2009 02:23 AM (GMT)
I was watching the All-Star thing for basketball. The Slam Dunk Contest was pretty interesting. Nate Robinson won against Dwight Howard.
