Do you ever play a game and it's music remind you of anything else, like a song or any other thing?

Lemme give you an example: Whenever I'm playing Zelda OoT and I'm in Forest Temple, for some reason the background music kinda reminds me of The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony"

Phoenix Wright - Objection theme sounds kinda like (or atleast reminds me of)
Megaman X - Chill Penguin stage

Everytime I hear the battle theme in FF games, I always think of another FF battle theme.

There is a level in one of the REALLY old megaman games that sounds like a rock song.

When I was playing Megaman X5, the level recap screen sounded similar to the character select theme in TMNT: Tournament Fighters.

Edit: It was the level recap from MMX5.

I forgot the name of it, but there's this song on brawl that sounds like it could perfectly fit into the Star Ocean 3 soundtrack, and it reminds me of the song that came on when you first face(not fight) Albel.(SO3)

I never looked at the composing info, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the same group.

There's a certain music in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2, on the stage "Final Valley", that really reminds me of Chrono Crusade...Chrono Crusade isn't a game, it's an anime, but for some reason, whenever i play the game in that stage, i feel like i'm reliving the whole anime again...

Oh know what you're talking about DM. Every time I hear that song I think of Star Ocean 3. Both games have a lot of awesome music too. :)

Ironic this subject comes up because I really think about a lot of games if I listen to like Crush 40, most of them sonic games. And we can all guess why too

There's a song by a group called Pendulum that actually reminds me of the castle music to the old Mario. It's only the beginning, but I can't remember what it's called. The unique about that is it isn't another game song reminding me of music from another game. :D

lol, dude that's really ironic. But you just reminded me, the music for the underground levels of the mario games sounds a lot like most of the drum themes I listen to

These aren't from games, but The Denouncement by I Am Ghost reminds me of Deth Klok's Deth Harmonic.

everyone keeps telling me that the waiting music ins mario strikers charged is from halo 3.....highly doubtful

You know, whenever I play KOF 2002 and hear the theme of the Outlaws Team (Mary, Billy and Yamazaki) I can't help but think of Smash Mouth's ''Walking on the Sun''

Alot of songs from kingdom hearts sounds like alot of disney movie songs. =)
