OOps your right, but remember, they kept changing the content of the opening. Some it was hidan vs asuma, the other was a different battle. I think the hidan and asuma one was yours. I like that fight scene in it

Haven't read the manga? And watching the english dubs? Might look like Renji's gone, but he manages to survive... (Depending on what you think of him, thats for better and worse. Personally I dislike Renji as well as Ikakku and his 5th seat friend Yumichika, and Uryu...)
But here is an anime series I like, but the intro could have been a bit better....

I saw all of it with my older bro when I was little, living in S. Korea. My perception, attention span, and memory were at about,...neigh zip when I was a child, so I gotta revisit the later episodes myself.
