Who would win in a real battle. X or Zero? Saber or Buster

depends..X is long range and Zero is short range. So i choose X

Yes but Zero can cut Buster shots...remember? also there fast. zero would see the attack coming. and dodge it

zero moves way too fast for X to keep up with normally, because X's armor is heavier, but zero doesnt have the ability to armor switch, so X could use that to his advantage, but for zero he does have a buster it just isnt very powerful, it would do practically no damage to X due to his armor, and zero's techniques give him unlimited use while X's ranged techs are very energy consuming, but as for shot dodging/erasing, true, zero could but he couldnt erase the full charge shot, and he'd have to be a bit away to dodge the full charge shot. either way it would come down to a battle of endurance, both have many abilities and advantage/disadvantages

I'd have to say Zero, myself.

i would say zero, and agree with virus zero, but it all depends, do thay have al ther tecs from all the MMXs or just from one specific. because zeros tecs in X8 were almost useless. but X 8, 4, 5 and 6, man, lots of power.

and true x is normally slowe than zero but what about the shadow armor from X6 (I think) that basicly made X a ninja with a saber and buster.

Alright Then, Ultimate Armor X and Zero. who would win. WITHOUT X USING THE CHEAP GIGA ATTACK over and over.

it'd be close, because zero's double jump would allow him to get in close, despite x's dash/airdash/hoverboots but at close range zero has no reaction time to charge shots, so i'd say zero would probably win, but it'd be a pretty tough battle that could go either way.

A close one...very close, but I have to go with Zero. I think he has an edge over Megaman, but just a little edge.

I would have to go with X. My reason is that X has the ability to assimilate a maverick's main attack as his own. Zero, on the other hand, gets techniques from mavericks. I find that, while this is powerful, it is also limited in variety. Zero is limited to attacks from his saber while X has a wide array a weapons (then again, so does Axl, but he's not in this :XD: ).

The weapons alone, wouldn't make much of a difference as Zero would still have the upper hand in terms useful abilities. What gives X his edge is his armors. like his weapons, his armors are also have much variety. The best example would be the Neutral Armor, which is useless by itself, but has the ability to mix and match parts.

In the end though, they're evenly matched.

no Zero is just too fast, X woudl have a hard tiem keepign up, sure his armors are good but they heavy thus slowing him down ( with the exception of the falcon and shadow armors )
sure his weapons are powerful but X has to first HIT Zero, as for Zero's limited attacks, chaining attacks for combos that gives him many more attacks.

I find that Zero really isn't that much faster than X (in fact, Zero's dash in X8 sucks). I find the power is more of Zero's strong suit myself. Not to mention that because of his limited range due to his weapon of choice, Zero would have to get in close to hit X, giving him ample time to strike.

And I seriously doubt that Zero can chain an attack after being on the receiving end of a charge shot at point blank.

haven't played X8 yet so i dont know but i've always found Zero faster because he has to get in close for his attacks while X stands back and blasts. sure Zero couldn't chain after a direct hit but the double jump would enable him more mobility than X.

I vote for X. He just seems so mysterious in his pacisfism. It's funny X and Zero remind me of Kira Yamato (X) and Athrun Zala (Zero) from Gundam SEED Desitny (respectively).

I've played every Megaman X games that have come out. I'd say Zero too. If you guys have played Megaman Zero 1 through 3 then you'd see exactly what I mean. X is the bad guy in the first one and a fairy in the second. Zero is just awesome. He's better than X.

in the first zero though you'll notice that the x you fight is a copy not the real X, the real X is the elf.

though he may have pacisfistic tendencies he still kicks much butt, ultimate armor from command mission in particular.

In a way i go for both cuz if Zero had a gun too shoot out of (and i think he had one in one of the Mega Man X series) but if he didnt Mega Man X would win. cuz he can make another shot but STRONGER so that zero cant cut it, plus its a Mega Man X is a range-man. I never used Zero in Mega Man X7 because in those games there is no need to use melee weapons anyway. Cuz the hostages would die if u rush to it when u can cover it with range attacks.

i like megaman more than zero but for some reason on the Games Zero's sword always takes more damage than x's buster, all he has to get in range of x

It's too hard to decide. X get's powerups after he beats a boss, but Zero's saber techniques are awesome.

I choose Zero, why? Because when I played Megaman I never died with him.

that easy like megaman.

Zero would win because with shot eraser he can destroy buster shots and if X uses a maverick power, Zero can use his giga attack to dodge it. Zero can slash fast so X can't escape.

I say Zero would beat X no problem,cause of the fact that though X has powerful armour,Zero is faster,and can swing one of a Z-Saber.

Consider this, X and Zero in X5 when they fought eachother, no matter who you picked they both lost to eachothr because they both used soul body, however, Zero has a wild card. he carries the Zero Virus in the gem on his helmet, that actually gives him power while it hurts x. Plus X shots do limited damage, while u can contuly slash away at bosses with zero. Plus zero does have a buster shot, however he has to stand still to use it and it doesnt usually go to the end of the screen. however if zero used his Slash copy from X5 (the one where he dashes slash and sends out a copy of himself that kills things on contact Plus his soul body technique, thats three copys of Zero X has to deal with, considering the copy does everything zero does

Well,I only played Megaman Zero 1,but it sucks at the beginning of it when you fight that boss and have to save that girl,until you get the Z-Saber you can't do jack.

But then again X does have a good blaster,I think.

actually i forgot one thing, Zero does have a secondary armor he can use ( no not black zero ) i mean the absolute zero armor from command mission, with that he can do so much damage, only think X has which can match it is the ultimate armor also from command mission.

though comparing the megaman zero series X and Zero is pointless because the real X in that series is an elf and the copy X is only half as strong as the real X was. so ofcourse Zero wins.

in the X series, X has the deck stacked in his favour- multiple upgrades, ranged attacks, ability to charge weapons, extremely powerful giga attacks (Zeros giga attack isn't nearly as powerful as X's and X's are pretty tough to dodge, zero's can be dodged easier and even if X is hit by it, its not as powerul anyway.)

but X doesn't have the speed, or the unlimited energy, once he uses his weapon tank and runs out its over he has to switch to buster. Saber owns buster. and even with the shadow armor x still probably isn't as fast or as agile as Zero.

though one thing is sure, if X ever grabbed Zero's hair X would need a new head because zero would rip it clean off.

I say X because long-range attcaks are the best
