yes, his names Hideo Kojima right? famous maker of metal gear, well im here to tell you abou the BOKTAI series. This is no ordinary gameboy game, it is the first of itskind, you see, it has something called a "solar sensor" this allows it to detect real life sunlight to affect the game, for example, the main character, Django in his first game, had only one weapon, the GUN DEL SOL, solar gun, but to use it he needs sunlight from the real game, more sunlight there is, stronger django is, less sunlight, th more powerful the vampires are. Now, the first title was released in the americas in 2003 and only about a million copies were made. Boktai 2 the follow up, was released in 2004, and im not excactly sure how many were made, and pretty soon (and i dont know how kojima and konami will work this out) there will be a title for the DS, or atleast that is rumored, if it does come out it should come at about 2006 or 2007, bear this info in mind and in the immortal words of Lita who with django makes the most obvious couple in the history of the earth "Keep the sun always in your heart!"

I played the first Boktai briefly, but I found the "Solar Sensor" A bit hard to control. I sat near a window there the sun was bright at first, and I had to sit in a set, uncomfortable position to have enough Sun power. Then I went outside where the sunlight hit me directly, to see if it was any better, but I still had the same problem. Its a good game, I think, but the whole Sun sensor thing should be nailed down just right. Now I haven't played the sequel, so they may have fixed it already.

as a matter of fact its easier to control on the SP or DS, do u have the GBA right? not the DS or sp? if not then i guess they made it easier to handle on Boktai 2, thats the title ive played.

i played boktai 2 but i didnt liek the solar thing at all nice idea badly implemented, it woudl be too hard of a game to play goin anywhere ( which incidentalyl is one of the main reasons for making it portable. )

and if you link up mmbn5 to boktai you get a link battle between boktai and mm and if you win you unlock a secret shop ware you can buy the Otenko and GunDelEX gigachips.

and you can alredy buy the Django and Django DS/SP mega chips. their awsom chips, the Django chip has Django comdown and drop a casket 3 paneles ahed of him and if it hits a enemy he points his hand in the air then brings it down and points at the enemy and summons a ton of rocks and beams of sunlight to damage all enemys, dos massive damage

I never really plaed the Boktai games because all I have is a GBA player for my gamecube.

plus as one of the program advances youi can combine 2 gundelsol 3 d chips with a django sp chip to make his purifier move ( the large solar mirror thing. )

umm that would be called the piledriver, and you get the link battle in boktai 2 tWwAM, yeah BTW also after shademan is destroyed you get the third gun in the game but really the second because the other is used onlyat certain times when using Sabata Djangos Older brother, THIS GUN (the one held by sabata) is the dark gun or GUN DEL HELL<--(intimidating aint it) and the third and last gun in the game is none other than megamans mega buster ( i wonder how megaman is going to manage without it)

but yah, his las t gun is the mega buster? BWA? care to go about explaning how that happened.......we want explanations capcom.......but that would explan why the megabuster stoped working at the end of BN5 and megaman needed to use his frinds power to use the soul buster.

but I gota play Boktai 2....like now, wonder if could mod the coding in the rom so I wont have to worry about the sun issue

The Mega Buster is part of the Boktai/MMBN crossover. I don't know the exact details on how this happened, but I think it's because the president of Konami's son is a fan of Rockman.EXE/MMBN. Likewise, Capcom's president's son is a fan of Bokura/Boktai.

Speaking of Boktai, the third game was released in Japan about a week ago, and it brings about some... interesting changes to say the least.

can anyone explan how to link boktai and MM. plus I cant figure out how to save in Boktai. darn it I soul like a gaming noob.

you need the wireless adapter, what ARE these changes, the thing is DEL means of in spanish so thats why its GUN DEL HELL and GUN DEL SOL (solar gun of django) and the thing is that in MMB4 SOMEHOW that i dunt know ONTEKO (the messenger of the sun who travels with django) and django get sucked into cyberworld and you must help thwem destroy and purify shademan, int his game Django gives him a GUN DEL SOL chip, which is a part of the gun del sol i think...this is a theory ok? o also before the megabuster failed did megaman disssapear? if so then that theorie is proven as true the worm who ate midgar. oh and theires supposed to be a save page in your menu screen ok? try pressing R and L to acces different pages....

Boktai players also need to input a code in the link menu to make crossover battles selectable.

MMBN 5 players just need to to the link menu.

actually you theory makes sence because in the in the final few sceans megaman disapears and his human form (Hub lans twin brother who died as a chiled, so his dad made megan man based of ofHubs DNA. and somehow Hubs soul ended up in MM, thats why lan and MM are so weel conected, their brothers, and thats why MM stongest form is Hub style) takes his place and destroyes nebula gray (kinda)

the reson that Hub appeared was because MM was pluged into soul server, a network ment to connect every soul, and after fighting Nebula gray, who is the essance of the dark souls that exist in the world and he is ware the darkloids come from (shadman is the lead darkloid), tryed to infuse megaman with dark energy and when mm refused to acept the energy he started to lose controll of himself so lan called out to him with his soul (must save alot on long distance biss being to talk to people with your soul) and relesed Huh.

Im thinking that when Hub was relesed, MMs Physical form (ok well his cyber Physical form) sort of went into the sudospace of soul server, and at the same time django was knoked out or somthing. and because soul server spred across the earth to connect all souls, mabey the signal went farther than Regal (the man who made soul server and DR. willys son) thought and it expanded to djangos world. and in that inbetween space of soul server ware djangos and MMs consuses were that found eachother and had to deal with teir worst enemys, and sence djangos worst enemy was a vampire and MMs was shademan a cyber vampier, thay fought off shademan with that vampire duds soul. the two of them fought and defeated shademan. and in a act of frindship thay exchange the main chip for the Megabuster and the main chip for the GUN DEL SOL.

BLAM. megaman goseback after Hub decides his work is done. but nebula gray tries to destroy MM with the last of his energy but coleon (cant remebber how to spell it) blocks it and his dead-locked with nebula gray, megaman tryes to fire the megabuster but he gace the main chip to django to use in the GUN DEL SOL so he uses the enrgy from his frinds soul to fire the soul buster, finishing of nebula gray and destroying soul server.

yes your right it does make sense, except django was all well and great! he had just destroyed the ancestor piece, jormungander and then he got megamans PET! my theorie is that somehow the soul server was always in djangos world, INSIDE THE ANCESTOR PEICE JORMUNGANDR!! and after jormungandr was sealed in, megaman was thrust into djangos world out of jormungandrs mouth......along with the PET, or a soullike copy of it, a vessel made out of megamans soul if you will. BUT shademan followed him out of the portal, because maybe he never died but just hid himself in megamans body, and then he used the dark matter in djangos doomsday world to gain a physical form....creating a dark vortex in the worlds, but after he was defeated megaman was able to return to his world! and since the dark whatever thingy was weakened as well as jormungander ( who i think is the alter ego of dark thingy in djangos doomsday world) was sealed off, the dark thingy lost all its power but of one last source, which led to the events you gave us tWWAM<---the worm who ate midgar

now all we have to do is hold capcom and konami at bay by threten to relese this info to the world if thay dont meet our demands.

Im thinking that we demand that thay make a RPG with a KH style world map system (you walk aroun in a dunion fighting stuff) but with a RPG fighting system so that when you get to cetien fights it gose RPG style fighting and you can map specal attacks to buttons on the controller when your on the world/dungion map. of corse you can get lots of capcom and konami ch in you party.
