Title: Who Am I? Description:Who knows? I'm not even sure myself.
Ganj - September 12, 2005 01:06 AM (GMT)
Oi, one and all. Nice to join you all here at HellBlaze HQ and I hope not to get banned. ( :D )
Anyways, my business here is just to be in a place where I can improve my flash making skills...and have some fun, of course.
Aside from that, I'm pretty laid back....actually...that's an understatement. Let's put it this way, all my friends have dubbed me "Yoh", and if you're familar with Shaman King, you'll quickly get the point I'm making. :D
So....that's my introduction....So I guess I'll see you around.
Black Angel - September 12, 2005 02:40 AM (GMT)

Ganj - September 12, 2005 12:37 PM (GMT)
OMG! Sailor Mars?!
Now this is what I call "a welcome". I'm greeted and complimented by my favorite Sailor Scout/Senshi/Guardian/Babe. I feel so welcomed.
................You ARE a girl, right? (If not, my apologies, dude. :D )
But seriously, thank you Black_Angel, and anyone else who replies here.
Black Angel - September 12, 2005 12:42 PM (GMT)
np, i am glad you feel welcomed here, and yeah im a chick.. a really old chick but still a chick none the less , yeah Rei is cool, i like her because she is one of the stronger senshi :) but I like Setsuna a.k.a Pluto more.. if i can find the script for it, my avatars will be randomized so you can see all of them.. :)
Ganj - September 12, 2005 12:53 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah, Pluto kicks arse (I always laugh at that word, "arse").
But old? You're not old at all, you're not that much older than myself really. I myself am actually 22 yrs. old, born in August of 1983. But maybe to some board members, we are old.
Black Angel - September 12, 2005 01:01 PM (GMT)
Thats true too, lol besides, i know for a fact that i am not the oldest member here.. the oldest member, is in iraq now.. i old say that i am old because i just turned 24 like a few months ago lol  :) Thanx for saying that, Ganj. :)

Emotionless-Geek - September 22, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
Welcome you seem like a cool person yea i watch Shaman King and that refrence to Yoh kinda reminded me of myself. I wish my friends would deem me with that name but its good knowing that you have it i guess.
Ganj - September 23, 2005 03:34 AM (GMT)
It's kinda funny. I never knew of Shaman King until one night (watchin' some anime) and they started pokin' funny at me. Sayin, "Don't Ganj remind ya'll of that guy from Shaman King?" (). And everybody started snickering, and I didn't know what the hell they were talkin' about so I got kinda annoyed after a few minutes of "Yeap, he even sleeps like him" and so on. But then they showed me the manga and such. And after a few volumes or so, I was like, "Well I'll be damned...it's like they studied everything about me...and turned me Japanese...and papery." So from then on everyone calls me "Yoh" (aside from Ganj).
But it's really freaky 'cause....I'm actually a shaman in reality.  Still in-training though in the old ways of my family heritage though (Very serious business though. DO NOT take like lightly.), but a shaman nonetheless. :D
Emotionless-Geek - September 23, 2005 10:56 AM (GMT)
Well im no shaman but on a full moon i can become something that everyone fears. But i dare not speak of it.

LOl sorry but that made me laugh. Also to improve your flash skills you need to post your flash. If you want help me, or VZ will be glad to help since we know flash and if you know swish as Black Angel. Let me also teach you how to post your flash on a post. In order to do so you must upload your flash at a nother site like freewebtown or if its small at Imageshack, putfile.com, or even Newgrounds.com then copy the DIRECT link to your flash movie and then enter this code into a post [FLASH=(your length),(yourwidth, both without the parenthesis)]THE URL HERE[/FLASH] So basically if i was uploading my movie it be
you see the flash box above?
VirusZero - September 23, 2005 07:04 PM (GMT)
yup if you need help with flash check out the tutorial section, i wrote one and put it there, its a ms word doc so you'l need that to see it, when i get around to it i gonna put it on the forum in posts for people without word, or get it put into a pdf.
Ganj - September 23, 2005 08:17 PM (GMT)

My mothers that way too; still doesn't understand why I do it. But we're at mutual agreement, and have lots of debates about it. In cases like this, it's best to talk it out. Some people have misconceptions about things and need to talk it through to understand what it truly is.
But about your question: Not at all, by my teachings. Shamanism is a means to understand the self in order to build a deeper connection to nature. It doesn't teach to worship God to gain favor, it teaches us to work with the world God has given us, with the advice and wisdom of spirits, usually achieved through an altered state of consciousness, a "trance". And with this, a shaman can see deeper truths and gain insight for understanding and healing to help solve personal and community problems. In essence, shamanism is a healing system, a communication system. It's not a faith system, as most religions are. But don't get me wrong. Faith is involved, as it is with virtually anything action. But there is not a lot of "give and take" associated with it. It's a very mind-oriented practice.

Im an athest myself, sort of a sciene/nature person. i cant tell you how grate it would be to study Shamanism when I get older, and become one with the world around me, so to speek

Hehehe...an athesist, eh? Well, I guess you can call me an unorthodox athesist; I didn't believe in God in the traditional sense of being a 'personality'. I have come to believe God (or The Grand Spirit, as I cal him.) is an force that moves through us all; moving us towards some end that bring us back to the source, the Grand Spirit itself. (But let me cut this short before we turn this thread into a religious debate. )
But, wow...didn't think I'd motivate you like that...But hey, go for it, if that's how you feel. I, myself, sorta kinda fell into it, but its been good to me. I have no regrets. It comes with its own set of "ups & downs" but ya' can't appreciate the good without bad, and vice-versa, so...I hope you do well, if you still feel that in the future.
