I gotta say X, the buster makes him extremely powerful and plus he gets a sword a few times, Zero is all round cooler but variability is X's strength ( being able to fight close hand or long range makes him stronger ) Zero does get a buster but its not as useful as X's

X is a loser without upgrades no offence

but without his sword Zero doesn't stand a chance ( and Zero never really gets any upgrades ). even with his buster he's not much better off. sure X doesn't have much without upgrades thats why in the games you want to get them asap. but he can still get by without them for a bit.

well in x4 its gunna be kinda hard cuz zero cant get the upgrades for you
zero doesnt really need upgrades. wait wait are you talking about x or just megaman

I'm talking about X, yeah in X4 Zero can't get the upgrades but it don't matter anyway because he gets them in X5 and X6 but he doesn't use them anyway.

Ok. I did wat u said and all i got 2 say is THOSE MOVIES WERE SO FRICKEN AWESOME! REALLY CAN`T WAIT FOR THE CONCLUSION OF SQFP3!

I say sero is more well rounded, he can kick most bosses asses without upgrades, with X you need a armpart or somthing. BUT X himself can deal moredamage to larger #s so it works out. im shure in a mavric fight X takes out enemys from long range while zero pickes off the rest

and yes while Zero may be more rounded without upgrades, that can be a flaw to becuase it means he has no way to really get stronger, if he's beat then he's beat X on the other hand might get beaten bad without an armor, but he switches to one and the tides turn, X then puts the smackdown on them. but if you look at the weapons they get from mavericks, X's tend to be more projectile based while Zero's only affect him ( with the exception of the rakuhoha ) that can be a weakness becuase he must be closer to obtain full damage.

I just get nova strike then kick mavericks ass

Megaman X! He with his armor upgrades is unbeatable and he can always kick Sigma's ass! You know... I think that Sigma always resurects himself to get his ass kicked again and again. Maybe he likes it. Couldn't he just say "this sucks i'm gonna work now as a weed dealer" and be happy for the rest of his life? ;D. Zero is also cool with his fighting techniques.

I would have to say Protoman and Bass are my favorite Megaman characters. Proto usually aids Megaman against Wily. Bass is always out to get Megaman. ^_^

I'll say Megaman X because the original Megaman X was the first game I ever played on a SNES and it got me hooked, not to mention in like X5 or 6 (I forget which) he had his 4th armor (which filled my brain cells with yaynessnessness) and the other armors you had to find the pieces to.

i guess i'll have to be the first to vote for protoman even though we all know he is the best

X and Zero are unstoppable with Dr Light's upgrades and Axl can take form of others and use his rapid fire gun.

i put vote for X he's cool although i didn't like his attitude toward Axl in x7. He was a total jerk to him but overall i Love Zero like in the other topic below this one, YEah hope your happy X and stop crying.

Seriously now, I read this fanfiction that's really good but my one critic about it is that they don't have bones or arteries but it was one of the best fictions i've read. It's called Crisis by Queen Sunstar, on fanfiction.net :evilgrin:

I voted for Protoman. And i'm not thinking of Protoman.exe or Solo or any of his other incarnations. I mean the original tragic hero. the only megaman character to be dying from a terminal illness that increases his output as his life winds down. Always was, and always will be, my favorite character from the megaman series. Right up there with Ukyo Tachibana from Samurai Shodown, before they retconned his death and then faded him into obscurity. Damn you SNK. And Crapcom.

Zero, definitely Zero.

Despite knowing that he caused Sigma to go Maverick because of the W Virus and the fact that he killed Iris, Colonel and caused so much worry and pain for X, he fights on regardless of the situation and never gives up.

Plus his Z-Saber and re-entry into the plot in Megaman X: Command Mission is just epic.

And then X is for obvious reasons.
