I'm sure most of you here have heard of this great and phenominal game! River City Ransom is one of the BEST beat-em ups on the NES. ^_^

Bad guys say "BARF" when you kill them, you can use various weapons like whips, trash cans, tires, crates, brass knucks, 2x4s, Lead Pipes, etc. Plus you can read books to gain new fighting abilities.

I'd have to agree with you there Top Kirby. River City Ransom is an awsome game. Certanly lead the way for other great games in the genre.

I always used to laugh at that stupid quote after you beat him at the end of the game, getting past the dreaded Dragon Twins. (Double Dragon rip offs)
