Title: MST3K
Description: Who's the best? Joel of Mike?
Megamastermaind - March 8, 2006 07:12 PM (GMT)
After seeing a bit of MST3K (and the movie) and some MSTings, I had the following question in my mind: Who's best? Joel or Mike? So I decided to make this to know how many Joel fans are out there and the same thing goes for the Mike fans. I'll tell you that I don't have a preference for any of them, I think they a re both cool, but I will accept all comments.

Since most people here don't know, I'll give you some info.
MST3K stands for Mistery Science Theater 3000. It was a show that was aired back at the 90's. The story was this: A mad scientist named Dr. Clayton Forrester enclosed a man called Joel Robinson in a satellite (which was called the Satellite of Love) in space and forced him to watch bad movies. Dr F's goal is to drive Joel into insanity with the bad movies, after that he would unleash the movies to the world and then he would rule it. However, Joel decided to make fun of the movies by putting all kinds of comments while watching them; to make his job easier he created some robots: Cambot, the camera robot that basically show the viewer everything. Gypsy, a robot that controls the satellite functions. Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot are the two robots that watch the movies along with him.
For now my time is up. Next time I'll tell you everything about the other host that appeared when Joel left, Mike.
Gotta go now

As I promised, here's the rest:
During the time Dr F was keeping Joel as a prisoner, he had an assistant named TV's Frank. He usually used him a another guinea pig. Anyway, at the end of the 4th season (I pressume, but I also think it was at the middle of the fifth one) Joel escaped from the Satellite, making the mad scientist to get another test subject. This replacement was Mike Nelson, who became the host until the end of the show. Passing through the next incidents, Frank was drawn to somewhere named Second Banana Heaven, the vanquishing of Dr Forrester, the arrival of his mother, Pearl Forrester and her assistants, Professor Bobo (a dumb monkey man) and Observer aka Brain Guy (some bald, albino man who held his brain in a jar). After many stuff he managed to get the Satellite to come down to Earth and escaped.
For now that's all, if anyone else wants to know more, just let me know.
