Personally, i really don't mind if you go offtopic.. because it is natural for that to happen, and it basically shows that you all are having a good time here.. and that is what we want.. besides, that is what the split/merge feature is for anyway.. However, "Free Chat" is the only place you may do so, but i am asking you not to abuse this..

This is an example of a normal off topic situation:

The thread is about baseball..

'Person A' & 'Person B' are talking about Baseball, then 'Person C' makes a post about Babe Ruth, and the discussion continues from there, until 'Person D' posts about how snickers is a better candy bar.. from there the discussion continues on to what the best candy is.. Obviously 'Person D' misunderstood the topic, but accidentally started a good topic about candy.. so, at this point, we would split the thread into to 2 separate topics.. One about baseball.. and one about your favorite candy.. that way the people talking about baseball can continue to do so, and the people talking about candy can continue with their discussion. flash.gif

This is an example of abuse:

The thread is about baseball..

'Person A' posted a thread about baseball, then 'Person B' starts talking about Michael Jordan, and the Chicago Bulls, 'Person C' starts posting about his troubles with his girlfriend.. you get the point.. In this scenario, we would lock this topic.. <= Don't do this..

That is all.. flash.gif
